"The towers of metal around you creak and groan as the wind whistles through this industrial graveyard. Car corpses peer down at you with empty headlights as flecks of rust are carried swirling through the dusty yard. Screeching gears and wailing engines spring to life as another dead chassis is casually dragged from its totem and tossed into the crusher.
As you approach the main warehouse in the yard, a thick chain and padlock are wrapped around the sliding doors. Barred from entry, you can only listen to the hissing, whirring and buzzing from inside the sheet metal walls. It must be something valuable that was being worked on inside, because why else would this yard have such measures in place?"

Hey guys,
Firstly, shout out to "SlappinFace" for continuing to write these scenario-inspiring introductions. They really hit the spot. Secondly, here is the first map for the month of September - The Car Scrap Yard!
I swear, I do torture myself every time I attempt one of these really large and fairly detailed maps. This one was particularly brutal because of all the cars. Just FYI, cars are really hard to paint well - I much prefer buildings and structures etc.
The yard is encapsulated by old corrugated metal fencing. Barbed wire ensures that intruders are kept out but the keen eyed amongst you will notice that there are some gaps in the fencing due to negligence. Within the compound aare stacked rows of cars that come in two varieties: flattened and waiting to be flattened. These piles of metal form a maze-like structure that make shootouts particularly drawn out, but fun.
At the center of the yard lies a small warehouse where the scrapers might pull apart and salvage particularly valuable vehicle components.
I included what looks vaguely like a back gate (north side of the map) - where it leads to, is up to you GM's! Beyond the yard's fence line, there are scattered construction materials and shipping containers that hint to there being adjacent points of interest.
The following from my battle maps repository will work well when chained together with the Car Scrap Yard:
If you are part of the Discord server, then you'd already know that struggled a little at the beginning when designing the layout. I am satisfied with this final version and I hope you guys feel the same way. Let me know!
