Added 2024-08-23 13:51:24 +0000 UTCOkay so firstly thank you all for the suggestions, easily my most commented on post and that tells me something valuable on it's own, clearly I should be asking for you guys to pick more often. So let's do that.
When I went to sleep last night it was pretty clear Silence of the Lambs was winning but also that Longlegs was the most suggested title (and also has the most votes now). Which I felt bad about because I haven't seen it. Clearly you all knew something I didn't because it has released today on VOD. Well, actually Monday for the UK but that's fine I'll buy a physical copy to make up for it once it does release.
So hopefully today I'll watch Longlegs and over the weekend I'll put a reaction together. I'm pretty sure based on all of your reactions we will do a complete guide to it at some point, but for now I'll just go with first thoughts. I have been promised there are no spiders in this movie, if you never hear from me again it's because there were and I have died from fear.
I'm super excited to watch it - and people with other suggestions please don't worry, we will do something Silence of the Lambs related in the near future. There were quite a few other suggestions I loved that I/we will be looking at in the future there too.

2024-08-24 19:54:22 +0000 UTCGreat choice!. There is a video on Youtube called “LONGLEGS: The Birthday Murders ARG - The Terrifying Marketing Explained”. It was posted before the movie came out. And even after watching the movie 5 times already (2 in theaters, 3 and counting on digital), it still enhances the experience. I was looking at the features on the upcoming Bluray, which comes out September 10. It includes a director’s commentary track, and additional extra features. Even with all that, I believe this movie can benefit from the Novum deep dive. There is so much packed and peppered in the 101 minute runtime. Cheers!!
