An idea for a sequel to the earlier Lurona piece was on my mind and I wanted to get this done in a comic. SO! I didn't give context for what Turning the Wheel was in the last piece! The Zorca have a courtship event where all pods gather in one area. And all who are participating embark on a race to reach a spiral peninsula called Rist Peninsula. They can partner up with someone before hand or meet someone along the way. They don't necessarily have to finish the race but some like to do so as a way of saying "hey I want to spend my time with you"
Zorca are polyamorous but it's not uncommon for a zorca to return/stick with a specific partner. In Lurona's case she had four kids with Fat Fin!
Hah, I get a little embarrassed by my dialog but this had me giggling. I think my favorite detail is Fat Fin beckoning Lurona with his finger.
