Hand holding leads to...children!?

When I feel like there's nothing to draw, I start to practice anatomy. The hand practices eventually turned into Cironus, Yona and Sidon hand studies and they make me smile. A few days later I was hit with this idea for a Cironus/Yona child, and then added two more babies! None of them have names or stories, I simply wanted to get the designs down first but Im in love with the giant manta baby 😭❤️

Another thing I like to do is character studies. Sometimes I don't have the energy to look at image references, and I'll get distracted from scrolling on my phone. But if I draw a study sheet in my sketchbook I'll tend to look at it more often. And of course, it strengthens the ol muscle memory!
