A warm welcome to any new patrons this month, and my continued gratitude to all of my long time supporters.
Last update brought with it the very exciting capability to import skeletal meshes into Hyperdeep, but I didn't explain how that actually works or provide any examples. This update irons out some of the issues I've discovered with the import system since then, and I've also produced a new guide so that you lot can actually get busy enjoying the new capabilities:
Read the guide here (includes example files)
Customizability is one of the most important elements of Hyperdeep to me and has been my primary focus throughout basically the entirety of the time I've spent working on the game. Supporting skeletal mesh addons was something I had worried would never be technically possible, but now that it's in I feel like the game has passed a pretty significant milestone.
Aside from that, I've moved a few of the customization options around to make the designer a bit clearer, and made a bunch of small tweaks and changes that I've basically forgotten now. What I managed to remember:
[Changelog]
Mechanics:
+ Skirt physics adjusted
+ Hand physics adjusted
Visuals:
+ Minor overhaul of clothing shaders so that default and imported clothing should look visually consistent
+ Small adjustments to HD-chan's geometry and skeleton to make her hands look a bit better in various poses
+ Teeth material adjusted to be less overbearing at the back
Customization:
+ Import functionality fleshed out with full support for various material parameters (see guide)
+ Clothing items can now have their offset tweaked to mitigate clipping and depth issues when layered.
+ Face element customization split into separate categories in Designer
+ Nose piercings corrected to follow motion of nose during adjustments
