Cycles of the Moon

A brief summary of issue one DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS. Let me know what you all think. I would post the 'script' but it'd be hard to read given the thumbnailing references not to mention a few spoilers

Issue 1: The House on the Hill

Tyler is woken up by the third night of howling seemingly coming from the ‘haunted’ and abandoned Hillerman House that is built on a hill that overlooks most of the city of Belhaven. Hillerman House has been abandoned for years ever since the last owner rumored to have gone insane and killed his wife. In reality the home owner, David Hillerman was gay and a little odd and his wife left him. David was an eccentric artist/writer in the roaring 20’s/30’s. House was abandoned in the late 70’s when he died. Tyler heads out at night armed with a bag of a tool kit, lock picks, flash light, rope, water bottle, snacks, dog treats and food, and a leash. Dog materials are in case the dog is trapped. Tyler is nervous about going to the house because of the childhood dares he and his friends went on going to the Hillerman House. All he remembers is the screams following after one kid screamed inside while he waited outside the main door way in the front of the home. Local kids believe the one kid that never came out was taken by the ghost of David Hillerman’s wife for violation of invading the home. In reality the kid was injured by a collapsed staircase and after a few weeks of surgery and care his parents decided to move out of Belhaven, hence why he was never seen in school, this helped fuel the rumors Hillerman House was haunted. Tyler goes to the house circling it as he does so more howling comes from inside. There’s no trespassing signs all over the property and on the front porch. Tyler ventures around the back door picking the padlock that chained the door and goes into the house. Makes his way into the house flashing back to his youth while walking down the main hallway. Make his way around the staircase towards the front of the house and hears a muffled growling as well as a thumping noise from upstairs. The hidden door on the side of the staircase going to the basement starts to rattle and the thumping from upstairs grows louder both of which freak Tyler out and he flees the house into the woods. Eddie appears in the shadows at the stair case (in human form) just in time to see Tyler leave the back door. Tyler fleeing into the woods hears howling from the house and growling growing louder from behind him. A can of dog food falls out of the bag as he runs. Eddie takes notice of this. He thinks he’s half way to his house when he turns around to make sure nothing is following him and trips on a rock, breaking his leg in the process. Eddie catches up with the fallen Tyler dropping the dog food can in front of him. “You dropped this.” Eddie leaning over Tyler in full werewolf form, “Don’t really care for the stuff but let’s see what you taste like.”
