Rick was such a kind, loving dad, but MAN was he bad at keeping his housemates from injuring themselves LMAO, which is kinda hilarious considering just how much importance he puts on "keeping his family safe" :,D poor Maggie was immune to falls after this fr fr, that child was indestructible after growing up with Rick
Also, maybe a fun fact? Maybe a boring fact, but Rick couldn't ride a bike. He couldn't swim, either. No one ever taught him how to and he was never in any need to learn, so whenever he was trying to teach his kids these random basic kid skills, he was always MEGA scared they're gonna just randomly die on him :,) He also probably read like 7 books on bike riding before allowing Mags anywhere near a bike. Bro may have not been able to physically drive it, but you can bet your left leg he was mentally a pro mountain rider to fully make sure he could keep Maggie from breaking an arm, and boy did that not keep either of them any safer in this situation lol

Did you ever go back to biking again after that? It’s the same with me too, whenever I draw Narcissus and Glo I gotta keep resizing them because I always forget just how tall Narcissus is standing next to anyone, especially Glo 🤣

Yoo that's soo kind, I really appreciate itt 🥹❤️ full body drawings tend to be so difficult for me, especially for this story since Rick is grotesquely huge compared to everyone else hahaha, but this composition totally worked out ❤️

I question that as a parent myself. hahah. And my actual HEART for him learning these skills that he never learned before! omgggg That's so freaking cute and everything. They will be unstoppable bike riders together once this initial fear subsides haha. Once he's got that confidence with it all!
