♦ Summer Is Not for the Weak ♦

You guys I am struggling catching internet so badly it's not even funny arr, I'm currently freezing outside in the darkness because, if I move an inch away in any given direction, I will no longer have a single line of signal hahahh

I love that there is no internet here in the mountains but I also hate it for the sake of the posts :,D I'm gonna post a bunch of stuff while I'm here, though. I've focused more on writing yesterday and I've gotten a BUNCH of it done, so I'm thinking of maaybe posting some draft 2 previews since you've enjoyed it the last time!

Anyway, a silly little sheet of Rick drawings for the next week's post <3 Rick has survived homelessness in Krasnogorod back when he was in his late teens (plus he was basically living on the street anyway since he did whatever he could to avoid interacting with his dad). And Russia isn't exactly a warm place to be.

Grimport isn't either. New Rosea in general is significantly colder than a lot of American states (hence why they throw killer winter events hehe, it's the one thing that awful place is actually good at T.T), so Rick lived in coats for the majority of his life, and you could say he was just not the warmth sort anyway considering his entire family came from coldass places. Thus, living in Grimport was actually pretty warm for my guy, he was generally known for shoveling snow pajamas with no socks on and ridiculous stuff like that

FJ, however, had a son in Claudrie Hills (another random fictional American state for the story, warm, expensive, pretty popular with young people and the complete opposite of Grimport in every feasible way haha), so Kostrovs often spent at least a fraction of summer holidays there to hand out with him. Great news for the Kostrovs, bad news for Rick. He physically isn't made for warmth and stubbornly refuses to buy summer clothes, thus he lives in a constant state of heatstroke and suffers immensely.

Btw, writing this in pitch darkness just allowed me to see a firefly for the first time in 15 years and I'm genuinely so happy it's borderline unreal haha
