Grindy fan sounds in PC
Added 2020-01-26 22:53:19 +0000 UTCSeems to be coming from my GPU. I've checked it, cleaned it out, done everything a layman can do. The fan still rattles and grinds. I now need the help of somebody who, A: knows what they are doing, B: has WAY more patience than I do with tehcnology, and C: does not have my massive Scottish rail-worker hands in their way.
It happens when it feels like it. I have not been able to pinpoint a particular range of RPM that triggers it.
Sooooo as my life is full of first-world poverty, rotten luck, and complex-bullshittery it may be a long road before anything can be done about it. I mean literal years can go by before anything changes, that's the lot I was given in this lifetime. Hopefully it will hold out and just be nerve racking but functional.
If things go tits up and I vanish without a trace for a week or longer, something happened. :V
All I can do now is try not to worry about it.
