The protagonist is as paragon as it gets, but the characters are loveable, the food looks good and works in real life. And it gives decent cooking tips.

I'm a culinary student and I want to own my own place one day and whenever I get stuck or feel like I haven't done anything worth while with my cooking in a while. I either re-read or re-watch this series because it has some really cool concepts and ideas. Plus in the Manga they actually include recipes! Also Danny stop reading here if you don't want a minor spoiler.. megumi is such a pure soul and I relate to her so hard.

Your reaction to the squid was priceless! 😂 I also remember being like nope this is too much for me, I'm calling it quits after that first episode.....then I ended up hooked. So yes, I've watched it all and so many people I know who are in to very different genres have too! The foodgasms just become so normal halfway through season one that you just stop acknowledging them at least for their shock value, soon it will turn in to - What weird scenario did you come up with for this one and is it weirder than the last? I mainly watched this show to geek out about food. I learned sooooo much useless knowledge about cooking from this show; it really does go a lot more in-depth. It's not the greatest anime of all time ofcourse but it was like light entertainment/easy watching when you've had a hard day at work or something and this reaction reminded me how much I miss it!

It's called Muscles and Magic! Basically a guy with no magic power at all goes to a school for magic, and every magic duel he gets in to he just physically attacks and beats the shit out of his opponent. You will get actual cooking history, technics, recipes- plus you'll get action and tension. This show is so freaky and amazing. I love it so much and I hope you enjoy this uncomfortable ride. 2022-02-25 09:46:14 +0000 UTCI love cooking. It's a passion of mine. I often love needlessly horny anime, too. Food Wars is a bit much for me. I didn't vote for it. The woman characters (disturbingly often underage) can't eat food without immediately losing all their clothes and becoming useless bimbos and it can be a little exhausting to watch. A lot of the men's foodgasms are good but they're not as objectifying and demeaning which creates a harsh contrast. I'm bisexual and attracted to women but I still feel like I am not the target audience for this show. The delicious-looking food almost makes it worth watching but goes a bit over the line for me. It takes a lot of my enjoyment out of it. Also Jonah's great (and he's the dub voice of Joe from sk8) and I think your full reaction to Beastars would be a blast to watch because it's quite weird but also very interesting. I'm not a furry but I still find it entertaining if that... helps? Idk?

This anime is for sure in my top favorites, with Erina being my favorite animated girls (not counting before I found out for certain that Nagisa is a boy!). Sure the reactions are way over the top but there is a good engaging story that draws you in, I think you will enjoy it and the ride, even if it shocks a bit.
