The funniest thing Duaffy has ever said (so far, in my watching her MCU reactions) is to ask, of Loki, "Why would he lie?" That is what Loki does. He's the God of Mischief. He does whatever he needs to do get what he wants, and lying, even if he doesn't need to, is as easy for him as water falling over a waterfall.
