Whats Next?

With the end of the first season of Skylark just around the corner, I've been trying to figure out that the next steps should be. Let me assure you that Skylark is not ending any time soon. currently I've written down plans for at least 2 more seasons of equal or greater length, which leads me to what will be the first step.

Hiatus
Once the season ends, i will be taking some time off posting and wont be moving immediately into the second season. this wont be a break. I will be taking the time to carefully plan out and write the bulk of season 2 before i commit it to the page. i will also take great cate to design all of the visual elements such as characters, architecture, props and more. which is something i should've done for the first season, but i was still too inexperienced to realize so. I'm not sure how long this prosses will take, but you wonderful patrons can expect updates and sneak peeks as i go.

A Skylark Guide
The boardgame is not abandoned!! I've been stuck in the design process for the longest time, and more recently I've been short on time in general. but this will be the perfect opportunity to make progress and hopefully open testing to a wider audience. the only thing stopping me now, are small legal hurdles, which I'm sure I'll be able to quickly resolve once legal council is in the budget.

Funding
i will not sugar coat it, the last year has been rough, its only thank to you guys and all the lovely peeps who read Skylark and regularly order commissions that I've been able to keep the dream alive. But as part of the nature of a hiatus, a drop in interest for my work is bound to happen. But i promise to keep working. I'm sure i will have to figure out different methos and options to secure funding, but even if i have to go back to a standard job, i wont stop working on what makes me happy, which is this.

I'm Not F*cking Leaving!
TLDR: I'm gonna keep working, I'm gonna keep streaming, and Skylark will return. Hope you enjoy the season finale, August 7th and the usual time for patreons, and the 21st on webtoon.
