Avatar: The Last Airbender - 1x01 “The Boy in the Iceberg” FULL REACTION

I'm not sure that LOK is better written, but apart from season 2 I thought it was all very strong, compelling and intriguing writing. From the villains, to their desires, to their methods, LOK has a great rogues gallery and that always makes the hero seem greater by necessity. (minor, sorta spoiler coming) ATLA has good villains and one or two amazing ones but i tink OK outshines it. Having 1 extra season also helped. Still prefer ATLA over all to watcht & Korra is a great sequel basically.

Yo Liam, glad to see you checking out ATLA, amazing show. I might get some hate for this but I kinda think LOK is better written and a better show though I prefer TLA cause of nostalgia and what not. Anyway I show I would recommend as it has similar vibes to TLA, though a very different plot and magic system. The Dragon Prince, it's only got 3 seasons that would go by in a flash, pus it's animation so it can take ages to make. But maybe after Avatar or just at some point down the line you could check it out and it'll be 5 seasons strong.

Super late so fingers crossed you’ll still see this, but I’d love to see you do the SyFy series 12 Monkeys! It ran for four seasons (13/13/10/11 episodes, respectively) so it would be a fairly quick watch. The show has a similar feel to Buffy in a lot of ways, despite wildly different settings and being on opposite ends of the genre tv spectrum—and it features Jennifer Goines, aka River Tam 2.0, this time somehow with MORE cinnamon in the proverbial roll. I think you’d really enjoy it!

It is a show that is deceptively simple and, well, children's Saturday morning cartoonish for the first handful of episodes. And then it takes a sudden turn and gets deeper, richer and more complex. It would reward a reaction watch. In many ways, this is like Buffy, which starts as simple monster-of-the-week episodes in season 1, then turns the screws several notches with first "Prophecy Girl," then "Lie to Me" and then "Surprise/Innocence," making clear that it has a lot more on its mind than a bunch of friends cleverly defeating monsters each week.

I'm so excited if your really taking AtLA on. If your still on the fence it is an amazing show with a great world with even greater history and lore not to mention the charters both with the main cast and side characters are awesome even bit characters and characters you hate are awesome. Also I have to agree with Angela Colon you should watch the next episode not only because it's a good episode but it's the part 2 of the pilot that even aired with this episode so... Great reaction to this as well. If you do continue this I cant wait to see who you dub your cinnamon roll💜

ATLA. Great show. Interestingly, since I first watched it, I've always felt that it is the show that is closest to Buffy... believe it or not! They are a similar blend of Drama, Comedy, Action, and Fantasy. I've long been on the look out for a reactor doing Avatar. I've enjoyed a couple of reactors that stopped, or uploaded inconsistently.
