Patreon Reform
Added 2021-01-28 19:45:32 +0000 UTCAfter multiple months of suspension and not nearly long enough back, I hate having to do this; but I'm re-doing how this patreon works.
For those who simply want to support me or read new stories, no worries for you! Content is still coming, hopefully this will even result in more.
The changes are the following:
>Megamacropolis is losing it's CYOA gimmick. Allowing viewer suggestions as well as votes was perhaps overly optimistic, and while I think your choices have been a lot of fun... I no longer have any idea how to write in their direction. The setting and characters, though, will continue to appear, and SOME votes may still be available. Currently, in fact, a story is in the works featuring a day in the life of some local politicians... campaigning for more.
>The Story Tier is going away. This is part of a broader effort to get away from commissions. For the amount of raw time I have to spend on these stories, I just get caught in an inescapable spiral of shame at my own inability to deliver to myself and to you. To reduce this problem, it will be changing to a bit of a YCH tier. Where, if you still want an adventure along my characters, you can still get them, it will simply be a story without nearly as much control... of course, you can obviously still say what is and is not acceptable to have happen to your characters! I'm not a monster.
(I say this, but I do still intend to finish Aria and Mira's story.)
