It is cheaper. I have a .380 I use as a backup and ammo for it is more expensive than 9x19.

I get 9x19 AKA 9mm Luger at about .20 per round, 115 grain, FMJ, brass casing, target rounds. Shipping and handling has become more expensive as of late. Aluminum casing is about .02 cheaper, but I haven't learned to trust it yet. It least I can get it now, about 2 years ago everyone was out of it. I have two friends that shoot .380, they tell me 9mm Luger is cheaper.

How much does 9x18 go for? I was surprised to find that bulk .380 was more expensive than 9x19.

Loving the custom Glock on her. She is by far one of my favorite characters, and this along with a gun fetish sketch is great. I myself carry a Bulgarian Makarov, Hornady actually makes a critical defense round for 9x18 mak. Works great with the EFA-2K holster I got from a friend in the Ukraine. Gotta love that soviet surplus.

I had no specific caliber in mind for the gun I drew, other than just having it be a Glock due to how easy it is to draw, and how familiar I am with those. I love 1911s, but practically speaking, they're an older gun for an older era if you're talking about a full sized combat pistol, in a world of modern high capacity automatics.

So she's a 9mm girl? I personally love my 1911, nothing else has that trigger feel but it's too heavy to carry.

Killing power is more a matter of shot placement than anything. Unless you're stuck with using military FML ball ammo, modern defensive 9mm is perfectly lethal.

Red doesn't strike me as a 9mm kind of girl, I'd think she's want more killing power like .40 or even .45

I love great fem figures due to fit, muscular bodies. So many "hot models" look malnourished, and too soft bodied. Muscle means stamina and often great flexibility. 8)
