@Ken Veader Campy and cringy, sure. Yet, a nearly perfect action movie.

Thomas Yanez

I'm thoroughly confused on the whole schedule thing but I just wait for those Patreon emails. It's no biggie.. The key to patience is always having something to do, coz usually there probably is something productive to do, and then whatever you're waiting for just comes faster than you know it.

Alex

My chiropractor loves Cobra Kai and the whole office they have a Cobra Kai calendar and they watch it together. I told him about it today. Obviously for you guys it's definitely something to avoid as the trailer has massive spoilers for you guys. but I'm like ... OMG... like OMG... I can't wait. You guys have some awesome stuff coming up I cannot wait to see how you react to all the things coming up :D

Alex

Hm.. Let us know what he says!

Alex

https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/quentin-tarantino-favourite-war-movie/?amp "When asked about his favourite war film of all time, Tarantino made an interesting pick. He selected Casualties of War – a 1989 classic by the enormously talented Brian De Palma whom Tarantino has often cited as his mentor. The two share a lot of similarities in their respective styles, especially when it comes to the treatment of cinematic violence. Tarantino said: “My favourite war movie probably is De Palma’s Casualties of War and there’s a scene in here – it happens towards the beginning of the movie – where Sean Penn’s character’s best friend is shot and he’s taking care of him. I really used it when I was doing Reservoir Dogs, not copying it frame by frame or anything but just when I was writing the script emotionally”. The scene that Tarantino was talking about involved Mr. Orange and Mr. White and this film served as the inspiration for that iconic moment from Tarantino’s breakthrough directorial debut. “[De Palma] really showed me what you could do with cinema,” Tarantino added while claiming that the director of classics such as Carrie was among the finest talents of his generation."

Ken Veader

"Face/Off" is definitely a movie that any Cage or Travolta fan needs to see at least once. F'n insane, and you know those two had a blast making it.

Thomas Yanez

One of the great things about this trilogy (to me) is how obvious the improvements are with each movie, due to increased budget and experience.

Thomas Yanez

I am going to say it hope everyone sees this, Cage and Travolta FACE-OFF

Richard Flanagan

Tarantino lovers. If you haven't seen "Casualties of War" you might wanna go vote for it in the war film poll. It's Tarantinos favorite war film. And he actually wrote the relationship between Roth and Kietel in Reservoir Dogs inspired by a relationship between 2 characters in Casualties of War. And Paul Thomas Anderson casted John C Reiley in Boogie Nights bc he loved his character in Casualties of War.

Jonathan Patrick

"Cobra Kai" Episode 5 you're going to LOVE. It just gets better and better after this.

Jeff Mills

ohhhh... and the Soundtrack is a really good one. Chock full of great classics. All of Tarantino's Soundtracks are great. Reservoir Dogs, and Pulp Fiction are also fantastic.

CygnusXII CygnusXII

Jackie Brown is one of Tarantino's best movies. Pam Grier is simply divine in this movie, along with Max Cherry / Robert Foster, and Sam Jackson as Ordell Robbie, and Deniro's Character is awesome, and don't forget Bridget Fonda, and Michael Keaton,a and don't forget Chris Tucker Beaumont. This movie is a masterpiece IMHO.

CygnusXII CygnusXII

So excited about Jackie Brown! It's easily my favorite Tarantino film.

Jeffrey Miller

I love Toy Soldiers! Great cast too! Die Hard at a boarding school!

David Crabtree

I love also Pam Grier in Jackie Brown !!! Other Great Pam Grier Movies are "Coffy" from 1973 and "Foxy Brown" from 1974

Florian Meier

This is a Great Week !!! Both Movies are Fantastic !! I Still Hope you do a Clint Eastwood Series After Stallone ;) HE is my Favorite Actor !!! I Know I have suggested some Movies before but I Hope you just Add them to your List !! Maybe you can do a Clint Eastwood Poll ;) You Have to Watch all 5 Dirty Harry Movies !!! "Play Misty For Me" from 1971 !!! Fantastic Thriller, "Coogans Bluff" from 1968 , "Escape from Alcatraz" from 1979 and " The Gauntlet" from 1977 !!!

Florian Meier

You guys totally have to watch Toy Soldiers. It's an early 90s action film about terrorists that take over a boarding school whose students have been expelled from multiple schools. It's very funny and also a great action film. It's kind of like if you blend those old high school / summer camp type movies that you loved to watch as a kid for the juvenile hijinks and pranks with something like Die Hard. I kind of gave a little bit because the title Toy Soldiers can easily give off the wrong impression that it's like a kids movie or some documentary about the military or something, or knowing it involves kids that maybe it's a kids movie. Definitely not a kids movie. lol. These are teenage boys. It features Louis Gossett Jr, Sean Astin (from Goonies / Stranger Things), Will Wheaton from Star Trek: TNG, The guy that plays Marcus Brody in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (can't remember his name) among others. Really top notch action movie that I think kind of slips through the cracks when most people think about great action films of the 80s and 90s. It's also a feel good movie too. It has a lot of heart.

Alex

Jackie Brown is so underrated and I don't know why, it's awesome. I can't wait to see what you guys think of it.

Scott

Jackie Broooown!

Ellie Miller

For A Few Dollars More is even better than Fistful of Dollars imo, classic

Ken Veader

It's one that grew on me overtime, at first it felt too lowkey after the adrenalin of Pulp fiction, but the characters are so much fun in this and Pam Grier and Robert Foster had such great chemistry. Now its a top 5 Tarantino film for me

Ken Veader

Jackie Brown is an awesome film, one of my favorite Tarantino films, I think you guys are going to really enjoy it

Ken Veader

Jackie Brown hype!

mikethemotormouth

I'll have to rewatch Jackie Brown with you guys. As much as I like the cast, I've never been able to finish that movie.

Donna Castellano

YES!! Pacino poll sounds great! "Serpico", "Dog Day Afternoon", "Scarface", "Glengarry Glen Ross","Scent of a Woman" "Carlito's Way" "Donnie Brasco" "Insomnia" "Irishman" Robert De Niro poll, Jack Nicholson poll etc

Joe Lazarus

Glengarry Glen Ross my favorite Pacino of all-time.

Michael Soukup

Eh just cobra Kai interests me this week, not a big fan of animated shows, y'all should do an al Pacino poll Scarface, Carlitos way, Donnie brasco and the Irishman just a thought 🤷

dieselbeast

me too! LOL

Chris Bruneau

looking forward to for a few dollars more and Jackie Brown

christopher brown

Wow I was just about to recommend Jackie brown to you guys lol

Richard

Oh, shit, Jackie Brown! I can't wait to see that reaction. Truly Tarantino's most underrated film.

EdmanXERO

For you breaking bad fans, forster is the vacuum guy! But jackie brown is his best role, IMHO

Chris Bruneau

So excited about jackie brown! I was going to recommend it!! Adapted from "rum punch" by Elmore Leonard, and starring the late, great Robert Forster!!! One of my favorite films of all time!!!

Chris Bruneau

I like the new layout design.

Alex

A few dollars more is great. Lee Van Cleef has a real presence and intensity about him to match Clint's cool, grim demeanour.

Aaron Barlow

My favourite Tarantino. Boo-yah!

Future Boy

The Good the bad and the ugly remains my fave western soundtrack

Aaron Barlow

Would love to see For A Few Dollars More again just to listen to the music. It's that good.

Mike LL

Westerns ❤️ Young Guns 1 and 2, definitely need to be some westerns reacted to. I'm very surprised how forgotten they seem across youtube, they're just as good if not better than Tombstone. They are classics. It'd be so fun to see you guys react to the 2 films. Sequel being just as good if not better than the original. #BillyTheKid

Jonathan Patrick

Another good lineup. I hope you guys are enjoying Arcane. When it came out I was dazzled by the look of it and it's pretty well written as well

Smooticus

For A Few Dollars More is like your entree and what a delicious feast it is. More Eastwood more showdowns everything you could want from a follow up to get you ready for your grand dessert The Good The Bad and The Ugly one of the most epic westerns of all time.

Anakin Starkiller

Jackie Brown is probably QT's most unappreciated movie

Smooticus

Can't cobra Kai can't get this season and season 4 season 5 is coming so hyped love your guys reactions to show always

Alfredo Ordonez

Looking forward to seeing your reaction to Jackie Brown... to me one of QT's best 💯👍
