I totally trust him" is exactly what Last Action Hero parodied with John Practice and considering the kind of stories the Reacher books are... I mean it was either that or Picard was gonna show up with his throat slit.

2022-04-20 05:37:03 +0000 UTCI have done boxing and martial arts and I know that once someone who knows what they're doing gets inside the swing of the crowbar and gets their hands on the opponent can take them out easily. Reacher had that chance more than once. Also he allowed himself to be hit more than once when he could've avoided it. If Reacher was surprised and hit from behind I could understand it but he was face to face one on one and could see the crowbar. In the grapple Reacher would easily overpower the punk. So don't arrogantly assume things about people. I'm sure even at my advanced age I would kick your ass. :)

2022-04-19 14:56:09 +0000 UTCHave to agree with this,as it was happening I was pretty shocked and taken aback,it's not as if he caught him off guard or from behind either,it was a fair fight and the little dude got the better of him I can't help but think a little less of Reacher after that,I understand that there has to be some push back and he can't have it all his own way,but I would have assumed that would come in the finale and be up against that "Viking" guy they referenced
