The original Pet Semetary from the 80s. Not the remake.

2022-05-11 23:08:47 +0000 UTClol Yeah, I was gonna say - Sam and Daniel are fluffy bunnies - can't traumatize them too too much before Halloween XD
Rue
2022-04-21 00:02:19 +0000 UTCWoah those are tough choices to choose from. You should just plan to go through all of them one by one.
Robert Nichols
2022-04-20 16:48:55 +0000 UTCAll of these are great choices and I don’t care which movie wins. I have to say, I sure do remember the 1st time I rented The Evil Dead from the video store… 😱😱
Rick Trujillo
2022-04-19 18:12:43 +0000 UTCEvil Dead 2 would probably the better movie...same director remake with bigger budget..same plot.
Alberto Blanco
2022-04-18 22:20:26 +0000 UTCAll these are good. I went with Night of the Living Dead. Was a fan of Romero's zombie movies.
Jah (jakwiq) (Jah Quick)
2022-04-18 14:06:32 +0000 UTCYeah I prefer good dead. More chill, help old ladies across the road and donate to charities.
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-18 04:49:30 +0000 UTCIf you've always wondered what the world financial elite do on their weekend get-togethers watch Rosemary's baby :)
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-18 04:47:19 +0000 UTCThe ending was grim AF
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-18 04:45:59 +0000 UTCThis was the hardest poll yet. These are all good! Lol
Jeremy Garner
2022-04-18 02:35:41 +0000 UTCLove 80s horror, I suggest Hellraiser, lost boys, puppetmaster, and Near Dark with Lance Henriksen and the late Bill Paxton, funny enough the duos the only two actors to be killed by a Predator, Terminator, and Xenomorph!! :) Carries getting my vote! Love me some S.K.
MIke
2022-04-18 02:30:37 +0000 UTCthey already saw that, it dutifully destroyed their souls!!
MIke
2022-04-18 02:22:40 +0000 UTC2 was better
MIke
2022-04-18 02:22:05 +0000 UTCi second this
MIke
2022-04-18 02:21:46 +0000 UTCwhats wrong with 2?!! best dance scene in a movie period!! plus the board game called probe!!! How can you not like this film!!
MIke
2022-04-18 02:19:12 +0000 UTCChild’s Play (1988) would be great for you guys to add to future horror polls. I don’t think you guys have reacted to Chucky yet right?
Jeff
2022-04-18 01:19:46 +0000 UTCNightmare on Elm St 3 Dream Warriors is an awesome horror movie to be added to future polls. It’s OK to skip Nightmare 2 and go straight to 3.
Jeff
2022-04-18 01:17:36 +0000 UTCSleepaway Camp would be a fun addition to future horror polls.
Jeff
2022-04-18 01:15:26 +0000 UTCand the series Ash vs the Evil dead
christopher brown
2022-04-17 12:25:52 +0000 UTCI suppose i would rather see Rosemary's Baby win, but picking Evil Dead would mean that you would have to watch the sequel after and I'm not mad with that
Bert Taverner
2022-04-17 10:20:18 +0000 UTC'The mist' is also good. I actually thought it was on here and realised it was 'The fog' lol.
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-17 09:41:01 +0000 UTCI've never been a big Evil Dead fan. The only film in the series that I ever revisit is Army of Darkness.
David Crabtree
2022-04-17 08:56:27 +0000 UTCThe only problem with these polls is they are all great, so I hate voting on one and making you miss out on so many good movies.
Vwlss Nvwls
2022-04-17 08:04:13 +0000 UTCevil dead is soooo overrated
dw
2022-04-17 06:11:14 +0000 UTCGreen Room would make a great reaction for you two. Talk about chilling!
Gary Giaimo
2022-04-17 03:14:11 +0000 UTCThe death scene in that is the most gruesome moment in cinema history. I can't rewatch it and I'm desensitised to brutal violence in films.
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-17 01:26:23 +0000 UTCDog Soldiers is a brilliant action horror similar to 'Aliens' that you guys would love.
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-17 01:24:07 +0000 UTCThe conjuring films and Annabelle series, as well as the Paranormal movies are must watches that are missing here,
Aaron Barlow
2022-04-17 01:23:01 +0000 UTCIf you consider Evil Dead as horror then you should watch "The Unborn" from the 80s.
James Whalen
2022-04-16 23:38:40 +0000 UTCIt won't win, but I hope you guys watch Carrie someday. It's a classic horror based on a great Steven King book. Evil dead is awesome though
Lee Brennan
2022-04-16 23:25:19 +0000 UTCAnd the remake, "Evil Dead" (2013) is pretty good. When Spooky Season comes around, please keep it in mind?
Mr. Writhms
2022-04-16 22:34:54 +0000 UTCEvil Dead 1 & 2 are great and I gotta recommend the horror film Prince Of Darkness by John Carpenter
Ken Veader
2022-04-16 22:21:23 +0000 UTCDon't listen to everyone telling you to skip Evil Dead and go straight to ED2. They are just jaded having seen both these classic movies so many times. Seeing you react to Evil Dead as a first time watch will be such a treat because you won't know what to expect. All these very nice fellow members will be very thankful and appreciative of your Evil Dead reaction once they see it, I guarantee it! Having said that, Evil Dead 2 is the better movie and I can't wait until you see it after Evil Dead, of course.
Mike LL
2022-04-16 21:50:44 +0000 UTCIndeed a great movie, same era as Chopping Mall along with Peter Jackson's Meet the Feebles and Dead Alive. I did notice Midsommar wasn't on the list then I remembered the comment about not wanting to see anything created by the Hereditary team 🤣
Nonimal
2022-04-16 21:11:02 +0000 UTCYes, it was visually stunning. Apart from the make-up effects and such, there were certain images that stay in the mind for years . . . like our first glimpse of the crashed spaceship in "Alien:" a huge inanimate object that's just THERE, silent and forbidding . . . you probably know the image I'm talking about in the Dracula film!
William 1611
2022-04-16 20:34:54 +0000 UTCThis is one that is so weird and it really did kinda warp my brain a bit (watched it way too early lol) but - Killer Klowns from Outer Space. It's probably one of the silliest but creepy horror movies from the 80s and I think you two would definitely get a kick out of it (and it's nowhere near as bad as something like Hereditary).
Rue
2022-04-16 20:27:49 +0000 UTCI would highly recommend Bone Tomahawk with Kurt Russell. A western horror movie with a killer cast, it's wild. 👀
Nonimal
2022-04-16 20:10:39 +0000 UTCThe Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) Mothman Prophecies (2002) The Others (2001) 28 Days Later (2002) Saw (2004) Nothing beyond the third one though!
Domino
2022-04-16 19:57:04 +0000 UTCWhopper of a list here. While I'm tempted to vote for Fright Night I'll instead choose Christine. I really enjoy that movie and think they'll really enjoy it.
Robert Cintron
2022-04-16 19:55:53 +0000 UTCMy favorite of these is probably Rosemary's Baby, but they're all dynamite. I'll put my vote behind Night Of The Living Dead because it literally invented the zombie genre.
Neal Romanek
2022-04-16 19:28:42 +0000 UTCI really enjoy Bram Stoker's Dracula because it's so visually over the top and beautiful.
Neal Romanek
2022-04-16 19:25:50 +0000 UTCReturn of the Living Dead is seriously horrifying as well as very funny. And it invented the trope of zombies wanting to eat braaaaaaiiinnnnss.
Neal Romanek
2022-04-16 19:23:28 +0000 UTCIf evil dead wins, should we recommend they skip I and go right to II?
Nick of Time
2022-04-16 19:17:31 +0000 UTCYou guys will have fun with any of these movies, but I'm voting for "Night of the Living Dead" because it's such a classic. It was really the first true zombie movie (not counting a few from the 30's that dealt with voodoo-style creatures). I might also suggest "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (1992). It was made by Francis Ford Coppola, and had quite a cast: Gary Oldman as the Count, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Monica Belluci, and others. It's a guaranteed mind-snapper.
William 1611
2022-04-16 17:05:44 +0000 UTCLots of great choices on here and I'm glad Evil Dead is winning so far but you guys definitely gotta see Carrie at some point
Ken Veader
2022-04-16 16:47:57 +0000 UTCalso Ash v the evil dead series were good too
christopher brown
2022-04-16 16:32:01 +0000 UTCSo I was just on Netflix and saw a trailer for Ouija: Origin of Evil.. That looks good. Maybe we can all watch it together with Daniel and Sam ;)
Alex
2022-04-16 16:26:19 +0000 UTCyeah it's kind of like (but not literally I believe) a director's cut.
Alex
2022-04-16 16:25:43 +0000 UTCthe first one - watching the second before the first is just trying to be clever!
Nick Sneddon
2022-04-16 16:23:57 +0000 UTCI like the Johnny Depp/ Chris Walken flick with your name from 95 lol
Byron Easley
2022-04-16 16:16:26 +0000 UTCLol I said the exact same thing on here.. the 2nd is slightly different -on Ash and his gal go to the cabin vs Ash and three friends in the first.
Byron Easley
2022-04-16 16:15:38 +0000 UTCI think they should do zombies as a series.. First the George Romero movies, then the Resident Evil series (the original ones) and there's the anime one that was directly released by Capcom. It's unfortunate that the movies are so different from the games.. but maybe they could do a reaction on their Twitch channel for the Resident Evil Games :) Then The Walking Dead.. Fear the Walking Dead. And anything else in between that I'm not aware of. Not sure how much zombie content there is out there. I kinda get on a kick like that and I will watch everything having to do with the topic..
Alex
2022-04-16 16:14:26 +0000 UTCEvil Dead, BUT we SHOULD start with EVIL DEAD 2 TBH. It's intended to be a "redo", though the story differs slightly.
Byron Easley
2022-04-16 16:13:21 +0000 UTCWhat do you think they should watch Evil Dead or Evil Dead 2? For those who don't know Evil Dead 2 is kind of an extended version quasi director's cut of the original Evil Dead. Kinda like a remaster too I think? But I don't think it's different than the first one? I've never seen it but I remember it is just kind of like having more content.
Alex
2022-04-16 16:09:58 +0000 UTCSo many great choices on this poll, but you gotta do The Fog! Underrated IMHO. 😌
Christine Holloway
2022-04-16 16:01:30 +0000 UTCWhich is my only problem with it. It's much more comedy than horror.
mikethemotormouth
2022-04-16 15:39:09 +0000 UTCOmg Fright Night 1985! By far lol. So happy to see this on a poll. You WILL enjoy this movie, and the SEQUEL! And that sexy music theme lol. "You're so cool Brewster!" 🦇🧛♂️😎
Jonathan Patrick
2022-04-16 15:01:58 +0000 UTCRoger Ebert once said; Night of the Living Dead is the scariest movie ever shot in Pittsburgh--he was right!!!
Chris Bruneau
2022-04-16 14:55:06 +0000 UTCThe Return of the living dead (1985) also Evil dead 2 is a must
christopher brown
2022-04-16 14:28:31 +0000 UTCWhile I would say Evil Dead is probably the must watch of the bunch, I’m voting for Fright Night (if the OG) such a fun underrated film
Charlie Keeler
2022-04-16 14:01:08 +0000 UTCOMG, this list is driving me insane! Please... Just watch all of them. No, seriously... 😁
Mr. Writhms
2022-04-16 13:48:19 +0000 UTCMight as well start with Night of the Living Dead😊
Mark M
2022-04-16 13:39:35 +0000 UTCI love me some EVIL DEAD, but I went with FRIGHT NIGHT. Out of the ED flicks, the first was my least favorite. ED2, ARMY OF DARKNESS and ASH VS. EVIL DEAD is king. But they're not on the list. So, FN for me. It's a tribute to old Hammer Horror hence the name Peter Vincent.
Philip Davetas
2022-04-16 13:27:37 +0000 UTChas to be The Evil Dead, Sam Raimis first film. What they did for their budget is astonishing
Nick Sneddon
2022-04-16 13:11:20 +0000 UTCIf y'all haven't seen the saw movies I think that would be great to start, it's more under the gore/torture genre it could be seen as horror, but the first saw movie is amazing
