Having lost my father when I was young, I love that they describe the memorable moment as being something simple and seemingly mundane, because those are the types of memories of my father I most cherish. Very excited for the next two episodes. π€©

2022-04-11 20:48:50 +0000 UTCI kinda get why Robby didn't tell Sam about Miguel returning the Medal of Honor. Insecurity is built into his mind, regarding his dysfunction with his dad and mom. He's afraid of losing someone he cares about, and I think he felt that if he just told Sam that Miguel returned the Medal, she would etch away from him and back to Miguel. As much as they don't want to admit it, there's obviously still some spark between Miguel and Sam. This clearly showed at the roller skate mall. "I was like UGH, MY back hurt!" - Sam XD That's all I'm gonna say for now. This season finale is gonna be IN-to-the-SANE for you both. I cannot wait.

2022-04-11 18:26:10 +0000 UTCSo yeah, re Hawk being cool about Miguel beating him up and the Coyote Creek thing, you notice Miguel wasn't saying "I know who you are ELI. Your name isn't Hawk it's Eli Moskewitz." and constantly telling him he's not this new persona but he's the guy that basically always got picked on, just basically telling him that without telling him that. Hawk was cool about losing to Miguel it's not a big deal when his identity isn't being attacked. The other thing is that stuff like that is pretty standard training in survival classes. What Kreese says about people not fighting with honor in real life is pretty true and it's cool that their dojo teaches things outside of just straight karate. Like they're not just stuck in the classroom doing the same thing other dojos do all the time. You have to have real fights and be prepared for people that aren't going to play fair. Johnny really likes Carmen and I always took it as that's why he ditched that girl. This is also something to think about when it comes to Ali as well, that Johnny really likes Carmen ;) The last thing it's interesting you guys view on Sam kind of being not cool. I like it because you're not like over the top hating on Sam but it just honestly is what's going on. But I never thought she was wrong about Tory I mean anyone who talks like that like trivializing stealing a bottle of vodka and saying you could steal half the stuff in there, and how she is completely embracing the victim mentality as justification for stealing and fighting dirty.. Don't let a few episodes where Tory seems pretty chill and cool erase those things. Tory is definitely not really having good character traits right now. As far as Robby he just didn't want to.. If he had told Sam about the medal of honor that could've changed things between them and maybe ruined the relationship as she might have gone back to Miguel. At least in his mind. That probably wouldn't have happened. The actors do do a lot of the stunts themselves and are learning Karate, some of them are already martial artist. I believe Jacob Bertrand (Hawk) is a martial artist. Either that or he became one because of the show. Whether that scene with Miguel hitting the tree was actually the actor or not, I dunno. Some of the hardcore stuff is still done by stunt doubles. Really great stuff and hope everything is alright with you guys. I noticed last week there weren't any new episodes and things were a bit kinda crazy with the schedule. I hope that's just that y'all are crazy busy and you guys aren't dealing with anything bad.
