2021-06-06 22:42:11 +0000 UTCSo I was 14 when this came out, and I saw it the first week it was in the theater. For some context - the gap between Back to the Future and #2 felt like an eternity. There were at least a couple years where we didn't think there would even be a sequel. Also, for me at least as a kid, 2015 was so far in the future it was ridiculous. At the time I couldn't even imagine what it would be like or even being alive in 2015. It was just "the far future". And a lot of the tech that looks hokey or common now was basically super futuristic back then - video phones, Doc Brown's AR camera thing, electric cars - straight up science fiction.

NOW they are worth thousands if you can find a pair.
