What is this? Why is this? What am I doing?
I was going back and forth between the conclusion of Aurora vs Cinderlla (It could be a while, I'm kinda of bored with it), and a Mark comic I'm making about gorgons and lamias, and then, for no reason, I became really nostalgic for the Witcher series. Great games. Great story. A little bit too much lore for my liking, but I tolerate it because the characters are all so perfect and the story is great.
I've had ideas for Witcher comics, but they're almost all about how ridiculous I think Geralt is. Geralt's brooding edge-lord Wolverine-esque grittiness is the punchline of every single joke. Mostly stuff about him using his 'brooding' as a weapon, or how he basically gets to fuck every fuckable female who exists in his world, or how every important decision that gets made on a global scale has to be run by him first, as if he's the nexus of reality.
I'll finish this one, but I'm not sure if I'll make more. It's not that I don't like the ideas I've drafted, it's just that my style is really inconsistent with the harder, edgier, rougher, darker tones of the Witcher. I think my Princess Peach and Zelda stuff has been so popular because my cartoony, colorful style actually works with that subject matter. I have no ground to stand on when it comes to the Witcher. I think it looks kind of jarring and gross.
Anyway, thoughts and opinions?
