Eskimo Nell Progress

I am . . . EXTREMELY satisfied with the way this came out, especially since the comic page I've been working on for the last couple days looks so terrible that I might need to redraw it (I lost two hours of work this morning when my Photoshop crashed). I didn't want to stop working though, so I figured I'd move on to the next request from my Fool. Nell is a badass, stone-cold sex-warrior from the frozen north who can crush boulders with her thighs and melt glaciers with her body head, and she's coming after Mark and the gang. I plan on making her Mark's equal, or even his superior, and although she loves getting fucked and has an insatiable libido, she's very humorless and doesn't show much emotion other than disgust and contempt.

I drew this one using a technique I've only used once before, back when I did the two characters that were a spunky witch and her guardian (if you remember). That was my first time using overlays and rendering instead of cell shading, and I have to say I didn't really get it at the time. Now though, I feel like I really get it, and I hope I can keep using it this effectively.

(PS, I'll be posting this month's cache of images and stuff once payments clear, which usually happens by the fifth or so)

Is a really hot for a cold character, normal that you are satisfied as it looks awesome. does this tech require a lot more time? Best of lucks with the comic page, the most important is not giving up.

Now THAT, is one awesome character! ...hot too!

Super sexy and interesting design, dude. In classic Final Fantasy / The Matrix tradition I expect to hear some kind of orchestral music complete with chanting in Latin when Mark and her have their epic fuck-fight showdown.

I bet he uses the render overlay method too than. From what I gather it's common with professional graphic designers. I've been trying to learn it by watching youtube videos.

Hmm, kind of has a coloring/shading style that the artist for the Pathfinder RPG books uses. Intriguing stuff.
