Announcement: Chapter Release, Chapter Structure Addition, etc.

So many announcements, so little time---so let’s get crackin’!

Announcement 1: Chapter Summaries are now officially included!

Each chapter will now include a summary at the start! Since I cross-post my story on AO3---and they have a rule requiring every chapter to have its own summary---I figured I might as well make it part of the structure everywhere.

And not to toot my own horn, but dare I say it... I write a pretty lean, mean, reading-machine summary. My summaries so far are:

Chapter 1 Summary: 

The story’s synopsis.

Chapter 2 Summary: 

Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, and divinities! Tonight, for your viewing pleasure, we’ve got quite the exotic matchup. From one dimension over, standing at 5'9" and weighing in at however much crap he’s managed to stuff into his shadow, it’s the Prince of Shadows---the one and only Emo Jin! And facing him… wait, what? A Pre-vazon and an Elf Knight?

Chapter 3 Summary: 

Jin: NEW BESTO FRIENDO!?
Lego: …New Besto Friendo?

Todo: NEW BESTO FRIENDO!?
Yuji: JENNIFER LAWRENCE!
Todo:
Lego:
Jin: …valid.

Chapter 4 Summary:

Toji: Sorry, Fushimom, I won’t be able to fulfill your flashback request to be a parental figure for our effeminately named son. Why? Because through the hoods and the suburbs, I alone am the Unpaid Child Support-Less One.

Jin: …Bruh, really?

Chapter 5 Summary:

Jin: “Gooood evening, ladies, femboys, and ladies! We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for—”

Freya: “Actually, Jin-kun, you’ll have to sit this one out today.”

Jin: “Wait, whaaaat?”

Freya: “Fufu~ Jin-kun, are you not aware there’s been a change of plans? Dearest Author-kun believes a certain Goddess of Beauty’s touch is required for this chapter.”

Jin: “…You’re not trolling, are you?”

Freya: 

Author: 

Jin: “…Fuck! And I’ve got rent due!”

Announcement 2: Comedic Segments Update

The comedic segments at the top of every chapter are now officially titled “Is It Wrong to Have Comedic Potential in a Dungeon?” ---because I didn’t have a name for them until now, and we needed one. So there!

Also, I’ll now start taking requests for which scene I should write at the start of each chapter for the next arc.

For now, the only one I’ve got is an AU where Jin is a pink elephant mask–wearing rogue cop from the Ganesha Familia, cruising the streets of Orario to punish crime and spend his downtime with strong, independent amazon babes, beautiful dark elf ladies, and resourceful dark-skinned human wo---

…You know what, screw it, I’m gonna say it: the joke is he’s got a thing for brown chicks.

Announcement 3: Discord Link Drop

For those who are fans of my JJK/Danmachi story, please make sure not to discuss it in my ASOIAF channel---that one’s for the other fic (though it’s basically a ghost town over there anyway).

Announcement 4: Partial Chapter Release

Finally, the news everyone’s been waiting for! I managed to write the entirety of Chapter 6, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to proofread all of it. Being a one-man army, I was pretty wiped out today.

I’ve managed to proofread a 3.1k+ word segment of Chapter 6 so far---and judging by how it’s shaping up, the final version might reach 10k+ words, unless I make some major cuts tomorrow (which, let’s be honest, is fairly unlikely).

So please bear with me---you’ll have to make do with the partial version for today. The rest will be released tomorrow once it’s fully polished.

Announcement 5: Well Wishes
