Now why, you might be saying, are you spending this money, Jaguar, if you just demonstrated with your pie (nom) chart yesterday that print editions make you no money? GOOD QUESTION. Sometimes I am dopey.
Okay, that's only part of it. Most of it is that I am going to Anthrocon, and if things go well, I might be able to borrow some tablespace. I'd like the books I leave on those tables to be furry books (for obvious reasons: furry con is furry), and it would be cool if they were new, and small, and good impulse buys. These definitely qualify. Because they're short, they're also cheaper to produce, which is why I'm doing them both. I'm not also doing Strand, for instance, which would cost more.
At some point I should probably do Kickstarters for print editions for these things, because paying out of pocket really is dopey--I won't make my money back in a year. But as a "quick, have something to bring to the con," these work out pretty well.
Expect this one to be available soon! And if you want the paper edition of "Second," you can already get that.
