Kinniku Kiss Chapter Four Rough Script

Well, as I promised, I got to work on roughing out more script for The Kinniku Kiss. So here's the completed rough script for Chapter Four. I stress that it's a rough script because I might make some changes to account for pages running longer or shorter than anticipated, fits of inspiration as to make it flow more smoothly, etc. But this should still give you all an idea as to what I have in mind. Also, feel free to chime in with suggestions as to how I can make this flow better.

The Kinniku Kiss Chapter 4

Tsunade:

When everything is going to hell on you, you can either freak out or get mad. I don't have the luxury of freaking out right now. And getting mad has always come naturally to me, anyway.

I'm not sure who I'm mad at the most. Orochimaru for all of his insane experiments. Anko for being stupid enough to get involved in this. Or for me for not seeing this disaster coming.

When Naruto found some of Orochimaru's old research in one of his abandoned lairs, I had been grateful to have more knowledge as to how to treat victims of his vile experiments. But after looking it over, I had also seen new possibilities.

On one level, I had seen a way of greatly extending the lives and youthful vitality of people everywhere. As well as salvaging something from all of Orochimaru's evil. And on a more selfish level, a means of regaining my own youth.

I should have known right from the beginning. Anything that's related to Orochimaru will always go badly.

It wasn't that bad when my rejuvenation experiment turned me into a musclebound brute. And while Naruto's impatience resulted in our recreation with Shizune ending up like me…she definitely didn't seem to mind.

Neither did Naruto when he realized that he had also been getting bigger. Though I don't think he realized the kind of impact he had on Hinata. Still, even though the unexpected side effects had seemed harmless, I should have known that that wouldn't last.

And I especially should've have realized that Anko volunteering for this latest test could only end badly.

Should've remembered the Curse Mark Orochimaru put on her. Suspected that it could react to the heavy chakra!

And now…Anko's paying the price.

Watching her transformation is like watching someone tumbling down the ladder of evolution.

And reveling in every rung of the plunge.

All the while Shizune and the others are calling to her. Trying to get through to her…and failing.

As for me, I'm lost. Unsure of what to do.

Until I remember the first rule of both my roles in life.

As a medical ninja, the first priority is the wellbeing of your patient.

As the Hokage, the first priority is the wellbeing of the people of your village.

Then I quickly look around. And I realize what I have to do.

Tsunade:

Naruto! Take Hinata and get out of here! I don't know what that Curse Mark is doing to Anko, but I'm sure that I don't want either of you near her when she's done changing!

Naruto:

Ergh…alright! But I don't like running away from anything! Or leaving all of you here to deal with her!

Tsunade:

Don't worry about us, Naruto! Just go! We'll handle this!

Shizune! Hiashi! Defensive formation! I don't know what that Curse Mark is doing to Anko, but we need to be ready for the worst!

If she's still in control after she's done changing, then fine. We take back to one of the labs for a full examination.

Shizune:

And…if she isn't in control?

Tsunade:

… Then we deal with her. By whatever means necessary.

Anko transforms, becoming much larger than Tsunade and Shizune. She also grows a reptilian tail and horns.

Tsunade:

(…Did Anko have to get that much bigger than me…?)

Shizune:

Umm…Lady Tsunade?

Tsunade:

Huh?!

Shizune:

Anko…she seems disoriented…but not violent.

Hiashi:

Agreed. Not to mention distracted by her…current size and stature. If we remain calm and handle her carefully…

Tsunade:

Hmm…alright. But be ready.

Anko:

Ahh…oh, yesss…!

Tsunade:

…Anko? Anko, are you listening?

Anko:

Huh? What?

Tsunade:

Anko, this is your Hokage speaking. And I expect you to pay attention.

Anko:

Ohh…Lady Fifth! Forgot you were there!

Tsunade:

Anko, I need you to focus. There's been a…a complication. It appears that the heavy chakra reacted with –

Anko:

(sniffing the air) Huh…what's that smell?

Shizune:

Huh? What smell?

Anko:

Smells like…

Anko:

Sweat?

Ramen?

Cha-kraaaaaa…!

Tsunade:

Wait, what -?! Anko?!

Anko:

Power…!

So much…power!

And I…!

Must…!

Have…!

More!

Anko breaks through walls and starts after Naruto and Hinata.

Tsunade:

Dammit! She's going after Naruto! Stop her!

Shizune:

But – why?! Why would Anko want to go after Naruto?!

Tsunade:

I think it's because of the Curse Mark's influence!

According to our research, Orochinaru's Curse Marks work by drawing upon the traditional chakra of the person they're applied to. In exchange for the victim's chakra, the Curse Mark supplies them with Orochimaru's own Senjutsu Chakra! It could be that the transformation has drained Anko's own chakra and now she's instinctively trying to replenish it by taking Naruto's! Either that, or she's just so drunk with power that she's lost her mind!

Hiashi:

Whatever the case, we have to stop Anko before she finds Naruto! As well as my daughter!

Naruto:

Ugh…nothing feels right anymore!

I'm so much slower…and I can't use my chakra to run faster!

Ugh…I'll be doing chakra control exercises for weeks after this! Talk about -!

Hinata:

Ohh…

Uh…wha…?

Naruto:

Hmm?!

Hey, Hinata! You're awake!

Hinata:

Ah! N-Naruto?!

I – wait – what is…?

That – that was real? And…where -?

Naruto:

Yeah, it's plenty real!

As for where we are, we're still way too close to the Scary Snake Lady!

Hinata:

Huh?!

Naruto:

Long story! But the Heavy Chakra was doing something weird to her Curse Mark! And -!

Hinata:

Gahh! Naruto, behind us!

Naruto looks back to see Anko chasing them.

Anko: Power! More power! Give it to me!

Naruto:

WHHAAA?!!?

Scary Snake Lady's a Scary Snake Monster?!

Hang on, Hinata! Shadow Clone Jutsu!

Naruto uses the Shadow Clone Jutsu, but the Shadow Clones are pitiful, pale messes that can only hang in the air for a few seconds before being destroyed by Anko.

Naruto:

Oh, no! My chakra's so screwed up that I can't even use Shadow Clones anymore?!

Anko:

C'mon, Naruto…!

Let's have some fun!

Anko grabs both Naruto and Hinata…but they poof. Leaving nothing behind but a log.

Anko: Huh?!!?!

Some distance away, Naruto and Hinata appear behind some bushes.

Naruto:

Huh?! What the -?!

Hinata:

Its okay, Naruto.

Your chakra might be disrupted by…well, you know.

But I can still jutsu.

Naruto:

Hey! Great job, Hinata!

But, uh…we better get moving!

I really don't like the way that the Scary Snake Monster is sniffing the air. It's almost like she -!

Anko:

Naruto! Cha-kraaaa!!

Naruto:

Can smell where we are!

C'mon! Let's get moving!

Hinata:

No! You go on ahead!

Anko:

Graaarrr!!

Hinata:

Protective Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!

Anko runs into the barrier and bounces off of it.

Hinata:

Naruto, run! I'll keep her busy!

Naruto:

What?! No way! I can't just leave you here with her!

Hinata:

But you're the one she's after! Please, you have to -!

Anko:

Pest!

Outta my way!

Anko smashes through the Protective Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Anko then drives her claws into Hinata, causing blood to erupt from her mouth.

Naruto:

Hinata!

Anko further assaults Hinata before tossing her away. Naruto tries to help Hinata, but is grabbed by Anko.

Naruto:

Gyah!

Anko:

Ooh…you grew up nice and big, brat!

Give me some sugar…!

Hiashi:

Beast!

Hiashi attacks Anko from behind, distracting her.

Anko:

Huh?

Tsunade drops down and smacks Anko on the wrist, forcing her to drop Naruto.

Naruto:

Wha-?!

Tsunade: I gotcha!

Shizune! Take care of Hinata!

Shizune:

Yes, Lady Tsunade!

Anko:

Gar! Give him back! Want more!

Anko attacks Tsunade, but Tsunade manages to defend herself.

Tsunade:

I might not be able to move the way I'm used to, but Anko's becoming a lumbering mindless brute! Her movements are so easy to read that it's pathetic! I can see her attacks coming a mile away!

Anko:

Rarrgh!

Tsunade:

Sorry, Anko! But as Hokage, it's my duty to protect this village! And right now, the greatest threat to the Hidden Leaf…is you!

Tsunade lands a powerful punch that sends Anko flying away. Tsunade is momentarily frozen afterwards, but Naruto smiles.

Naruto:

Wow, Granny Tsunade! You sure took care of her, and -!

Wait – Hinata! Where -?!

Hiashi:

Shizune! How's my daughter?!

Shizune:

It's not good! As near as I can tell, Anko inflicted severe internal injuries! Broken bones, crushed organs…!

And – I can't even do anything to help her!

I don't have any medical supplies! And without ninjutsu, I can't even begin to try to heal her!

Naruto:

Then – we should go find Sakura! I know she could heal Hinata no problem!

Tsunade:

Naruto's right!

Naruto:

Huh? I am?!

Tsunade:

Hiashi, I need you to conjure two Shadow Clones! One to find Sakura, the other to get Kakashi and inform him of the situation!

Hiashi:

Understood, Lady Tsunade!

Hiashi conjures Shadow Clones.

Tsunade:

Naruto, stay here with Hinata and Hiashi. Take care of Hinata and do your best to keep her stable!

Naruto:

Okay, but…I don't know anything about medicine!

Tsunade:

Just stay here and keep watch until Sakura gets here!

Shizune

Maybe I should stay behind, Lady Tsunade! After all, I'm still a medical ninja!

Tsunade:

No. I'm going to need you with me as I try to deal with Anko. Same with Kakashi. Let's move!

Tsunade starts running with Shizune a short distance behind.

Shizune:

But what do you need me for?! You can still use your chakra to enhance your strength, right?! With that and all of your new muscle, you should have no trouble handling Anko!

Tsunade:

That's the problem, Shizune! I can't use any chakra at all!

Shizune:

Wait, what?!

But then – how were you able to send Anko flying like that?!

…

Wait…you don't mean -!

Tsunade:

That that's what these new bodies of ours are capable of, Shizune?! It sure looks like that!

Shizune:

But – if you can just punch someone over a mountain like that, then…

Tsunade:

Then I can only imagine what Anko is capable of. Now that she's been transformed by this new form of chakra and her Cursed Seal.

Which is why we need Kakashi; he's dealt with Orochimaru's seals in the past. Hopefully, between the two of us, we'll be able to keep Anko busy long enough for him to do something about Anko's seal.

I just hope that Sakura can save Hinata…and that no one else has to suffer for this…!
