Oil Painting WIP + What Iβm currently working on π

It was a beautiful, sunny day here, and also Fat Thursday, so the whole Poland was eating donuts. Such a sweet tradition! I ate only two but huge - one with rose filling and one with coconut π©
I continue to work on an oil portrait study, but I'm not used to such a long process, and not afraid to admit - I'm a bit bored with it. Not sure if Iβm gonna finish it or leave at WiP stage forever π« I have no idea how painters manage to work on some huge pieces for months. My focus time is worse than that of a six-year-old π
Also, the canvas paper I used is not suitable for professional painting (it is better for sketches than for more detailed works) so I decided to buy painting panels. These are wooden boards with a cotton canvas on them. This solution means that the canvas does not buckle (like the paper I used) and does not bend under the pressure of the brush (like stretched canvas). They are also more affordable than stretchers. Today I primed one of the panels with two layers of white acrylic paint, and after it is completely dry it will be ready to be painted with oil paints π 
Meanwhile, I'm working on editing the tutorial you voted for in the last poll - "How to render skin tones with colored pencils". Iβd like to share it with you on Monday π
