Slight Delay on this Week's Advance Micro Episode

http://www.usgamer.net/articles/day-of-the-tentacle-the-oral-history

Hey folks,

Just a bit of unfortunate news for you: Since I spent the majority of the weekend (and most of the week) crunching on my three-part Day of the Tentacle oral history, I didn't have time to work on this week's advance Micro episode. Rest assured that I've already made plans to put it together, and this episode should be hitting the Patreon page by the end of the week. And, at the risk of being a total shill, why not check out my aforementioned DoTT features on USgamer? If you read all of them, it'd take more time than listening to a Retronauts Micro episode—and it's still retro game content—right? Right?

In any case, thanks for your patience! I'd much rather put a quality podcast together than rush something out for the sake of hitting a deadline.

Your pal,

- Bob

Slight Delay on this Week's Advance Micro Episode

Comments

Just a slight update if you're on pins and needles: I'm currently doing research for the Micro, and will be recording/editing it tomorrow. Thanks again for your patience!

Yep Bob that youtube vid of Tim is the same one they did for the documentary on the BA development. So good.

Thanks! There's a TIm Schafer playthrough of Day of the Tentacle on YouTube that's also great fun to watch. - Bob

Well, these interviews came from roughly 4.5 hours of unedited audio recorded over Skype—not really the most high-quality format. And, from a website standpoint, multi-page articles have the potential to get more traffic/shares/etc. Pure audio isn't the biggest money-maker in the world (hence our Patreon). - Bob

Favorite point click ever but I still have to play Grim so maybe this will be second from the good things I've heard about Grim Fandango, Anyone else watch Tim Shaffer play through it again during the Broken Age dev? loved the insight. Can't wait for the micro episode - great read Bob.

Enjoyed the article! Out of curiosity, why does this type of thing where it just looks like a conversation get written and not put into audio form?
