What the heck is going on? (Where are my updates?!?)

Hello folks, been a little longer than planned as far as posting to the patreon. Been a bit taxed in the real life department, and for some reason I let it slip to push a status update to you all here when I posted our last status update publicly on our itch.io page: https://rookfluffy.itch.io/psychic-connections/devlog/411730/so-whats-happening

Since that status update was pushed progress has been fairly steady. Wattson has been hard at work on some extra modes, our proofreaders have been going over the modified script content that I've been steadily providing them, Shiuk has been doing some nice art work for us, and I've been working on getting better about programming and what not so that I can be more self-sufficient. Reading other code-works, playing around with Wattson's framework that hes set up for our new character sprite setup the works. I actually recently got a scene together which helped me put together a little promo for Psychic Connections that I'm hoping to push out on twitter once we're closer to an actual release.

Additionally, along side the PsyCon work. I've been handling a lot of life issues. Inheritance from my Grandmother passing away, which admittedly isn't much work on my part, but there is a lot of pressure to probably disperse that money and I've often suffered from decision paralysis on important life-matters. (I'm also only just now recently finishing my Associate's. 9 Credits away, huzzah!)

But back to the meat, you are bound to want to know what the roadmap looks like moving forward. So first, I've been considering the viability of the one build a month model, as well as patreon as a whole, so while I've not made any hard decisions, you may see some updates in the coming months in regards to the tier-benefits as well as pricing. (They'd be going down in price if anything.) Additionally, the plan is still to develop a sort of backlog of builds. However, while I intend to get that backlog going before the hiatus ends, 1 year is too long of a break with nothing new for anyone to enjoy.

So, the moment 0.9 is done, I'll be releasing it here, and then to the public a month later, more or less as a sort of appeasement for the extended hiatus we've been on. While you all are enjoying that, I'll be getting that backlog developed, so it might be a few months after that before we return to our regularly scheduled program. Then when we do return to pushing our builds, I'll release 0.10 here, and since I owed a build, I'll resume charging patrons on the release of the 0.11 build, whenever that happens.

There's still a lot of the logistics that are being worked through, but I want to reassure you, we are alive, and things are still proceeding.

Hey mate, great to hear back from you. Seeing the struggles so many projects face with a monthly update schedule (so many burnt out artists and stalled projects), frankly I'd suggest dropping updates every other month. I can speak for others but that would be acceptable for what I'm paying currently- I enjoy seeing the new art assets, music or whatever as patreon updates. Can't wait to see the next update!

I’m glad you back!!! Sorry for your loss. I’m excited to see what you have in store for future builds.

I'm glad you are all still active, Rook, and I wish you the best with future builds; it feels like forever, but the new models are coming along great
