And one more thing... I found out from a fellow Pentaholic.... This song is inspired by "My Heart with You" (sung by the Rescues) and covered by PTX on their Evergreen album. (some more "Run to You" trivia for you) :)

And.... I also have to share... since i just found this... this guy plays the cello for all 5 parts of "Run to You." It is SUBLIME. SO GOOD... Whether or not you react to it, it is 100% worth checking out... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WKHpmLglKw

Oh, you KNOW I've heard this song before.... In fact, way back a long time ago, I messaged Ryan asking him to react to this song. The specific version I asked him to react to was a live version in a church in Berlin. The acoustics in that video are so good and I really loved how you could see who did what part. Fortunately the live version you picked may have been better... it was definitely well filmed and the sound was great. And you could still see what each person was doing through the whole song (which is something you DON'T get from the official video). And one dowside to the live version in the church is that someone (unfortunately) drops a glass or something in the middle of it.... only lasts a second, but still kind of messes up the perfection of it all. Anyway, my all time FAVORITE part of the song is that bridge where Avi/Scott/Mitch is singing one part and then Kirsty and Kevin sing that other part. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that part. And you don't often get that combo. I adore Kirsty's voice (always) and it's always nice to hear Kevin sing... it's just an interesting combination of voices. Anyway, thank you so much for reacting to this. It is one my favorite PTX songs. It *is* original, but it is very similar to another song that they heard and liked and might have covered. And now I can't remember what song it was.... If I think of it, I'll let you know. But I'm glad you appreciate this song. It is a gem, and it is SO felt. They are so intense when they sing it. Some people might not like it because it's slow, but I just love it. (And that time that Kevin turned his head... Kirsty did too. Kinda odd... maybe it's because they both weren't singing... because they stepped away from the microphones at the beginning of the bridge, as well.)
