This time I presented you with two polls both for male and female NPCs: the first one was a public general vote in which you could choose as many characters as you wanted, and the second was reserved to patrons and you were allowed only one vote.
As you can see in the lineup above, the reigning trio has remained the same:
Cindy takes the leas again with a new record, 1570 votes. Holly and Ivy take the second and third place respectively, but Cindy has almost double the amount of votes. No one's dethroning the blonde queen anytime soon!
Alison and Emma continue to fight for the fourth and fifth place, and this time Alison edged her out by only 30 votes. They are closing in on Ivy though, should she be worried?
Surpringly, Gillian takes the sixth spot, leaving Minerva and Cherry behind. Seems like you really liked her character design, even though she hasn't played a major part in the story so far, she's integral to Ian's plot.
Speaking of Minerva, she's managed to climb quite a few positions: she used to be last in previous polls, but seems like her last scenes have earned her your appreciation! The same cannot be said for Cherry, who got only a few more votes than last time and only has Louise and Jessica behind. I was hoping for her to get some more love, since I tried to make her last scene in chapter 11 very special and I enjoy writing for her, even though she doesn't have as much screen time as other characters (but has more than Gillian, that's for sure!)
The status quo remains quite the same, but the best girl poll brings some surprising results:
While Cindy and Holly retain her top positions, when only being able to vote for one girl both Emma and Alison have dethroned Ivy! I'm glad to see that both girls have some fans, since I try to make their scenes really hot and make social interactions with them as fun to play as I can.
The other girls are competing for the remaining percentages, and Minerva gets the sixth place with 4% of the votes. Seems like the sexy MILF has finally caused an impact!
When it comes to the guys, the poll gives a very different vibe. While the rankings have shifted quite a bit since the last poll, Jeremy still is number one, with 815 votes. Stan has stolen the second place from Seymour, who has fallen to fifth position, surpassed both by Axel and Marcel, which is a bit sad since I've put a ton of effort on Seymour's plot, character and scenes, trying to make them stand out and bring a different feel to the game.
I was considering if I should include Marcel in this poll or not, since he's basically a background character so far, and I'm surprised to see him take the fourth spot. Seeing both Jeremy's and Marcel's results, it's obvious most of you voted based on your favourite fetish, and I can see which one it is...
Perry sits at the middle, holding a solid sixth position, beating the sexy hunks Mike and Mark, and even Wade and Billy. And, of course, Robert is last, even though he has quite a lot of content in the game. Hopefully he's the type of character you love to hate; I find him entertaining at least!
The best guy poll didn't bring many changes, aside from restoring Seymour to a better looking third place, even though Stan still beats him. He's become a fan favourite despite not having as much content as other characters, but it seems you enjoy his scenes and I'll try to keep it that way. Hopefully the re-writes he went through made his character more interesting and tied him better to the overall narrative, even though I struggle to make him as relevant as his position in the ranking would suggest.

I think Jolene from GGGB deserve more content for example(maybe Billy knows her and Tyrone), she was so beautfiul and why not Jasmin since Perry said he likes "chicks with penis". In any case I hope your development doesn´t get you too much trouble because there are a lot of characters already and I wonder how can you create enough content for all of them and end the game before 2030 :D

I think apart from his fetish, Marcel fills a role with his body type and age of being an older, grounded, and more surly individual. I thought Ed might fill this role based on early story hints, but either I misread these or the plan was changed (seemed like his wife might pass away leaving room for the MC to provide some romantic comfort). Anyways, I think this is sort of missing as an option right now. Seymour feels less like a romantic relationship and more like a perverse sexual mentor who views the MCs as something between toys, pawns, or apprentices. Most of the more muscular body types also feel like they're clearly more for show, being chiseled out the gym rather than built through labor. He could very easily be a wholesome counterpoint to Arthur from GGGB. Also it might open up a fun scenario where Lena pursues a sexual relationship with him due to a certain fetish but ultimately finds that he has much more appeal as a long term romantic option, since Jeremy is clearly is not looking to stop living life on the edge any time soon.

I would argue characters like Louise, who I personally enjoy as a character, is an extremely important character in enhancing how hot some other scenes are, like scenes with Jeremy who is the most popular male character.

Cherry and Louise aren't in my top 3 girls and clearly they're not the community's favourites, but I've enjoyed every one of their scenes and really hope there are more in chapters to come. There seems to be a lot of excitement for scenes involving Marcel, which is honestly bizarre to me, but I guess it's just not my fetish. What I'm really excited for is the possibility of Nat scenes in ORS! She was my favourite character in GGGB and would love to see more of her and her boyfriend in this game. Keep up the amazing work Eva!

My favorite playthrough so far has been with Ian in an open relationship with Lena, and spending the rest of the time having as much fun as possible with Emma and Cherry. I like Jeremy and Perry. Would be fun to see Perry & Cherry hook up. I voted for Marcel because of his kind & funny interaction with Holly. Would love to see them go on a date.

BUT then HE is the one that gets seduced by Lena and her crippling addiction to bbc, making him cheat on her because he was the one seduced. Probably would be a nice subversion of the trope. It can go in several directions, but it felt like a positive turning point for Ian in most of my playthroughs. The maturity Ian showed in the encounter was the proudest I have ever been for the character. Gillian went from a character I never thought about to the one I am most excited to learn more about, even if she isn't my favorite. I am curious to see more of her in the future.

You likely won't see many comments like this, as it's a portion of the fanbase reticent to be judged by those preferences. We're pretty used to getting derided for it. I, however, have no shame. :D So I'd chalk this one up at least as much to Column A: Pure fetish as Column B: Some players starving for a likeable/date-able male of substance beyond Ian. Though I think the Column B task could just as easily fall to Wade or another character after a serious self-improvement arc. That being said, other than the obvious hulking build, the Marcel we've seen so far doesn't initially seem to fit the trope well for the theme. Though neither does Jeremy, imo. From his very brief interaction in the game to this point, Marcel comes off as far more thoughtful than thuggish. For all I know, he's a closet conservative voter with a copy of 12 Rules For Life in his glovebox and a secret Origami hobby. Could be very interesting for complex character development but not so much for a rocks-off sex scene. XD Either way, I could see what some people are picking up from him & can understand why they might want to see more of that. All said and done though, tropes get a bad name. They shouldn't fill up 80% of the story to the point of abject laziness, unless you're going for obvious camp appeal. But they are a very powerful tool for one key reason: Done properly, they're extremely effective... especially when it comes to porn. Tropes also exist in real life flesh and blood, part of the spark that makes them work so well, beyond mountains of psychosocial complexity. Whereas subverting expectations on every turn can inevitably become predicable in itself. Oh, original Billy. We hardly knew you. (;﹏;)

I'm glad Jeremy's firmly at the top of the guys poll. Fetishes aside, he's the most likeable & three-dimensional of the male characters. They give me those Beauty & Beast vibes and Marcel really looks like a Gentle Giant. It's a pity you didn't choose to develop further Louise paths as she is interesting character sadly relegated to being complaining bitch. Cindy is mainly related to Ian's side of the story, where she hangs out with him, Perry, Emma, Wade and occasionally Alison and Jeremy. Because her current situation with Wade she hasn't been hanging out with the group lately, and her affair with Ian being secret makes it neccessary that they see each other proivately. However, you'll be seeing more of Cindy soon from the other side of the story...

Marcel, a bit like Robert, is one of those background characters that end up getting a life of their own, but unlike Robert, seems like Marcel is really liked! I added him on a whim when writing chapter 5, and while writing nightclub scenes, he kept coming up with interesting interactions and possibilities I could use, so I starterd giving him a bit more space. While I had concieved Marcel as a rough, confident man who's work is imposing his will over belligerent drunkards, I had developed a couple ideas about his character and personal history that never really came to shine. Now they will at some point, that's for sure! And you'll be interacting quite a bit with him during the upcoming Chapter 11 Epilogue ;)

I tried to address and add some things in the re-write, where he was one of the main focus of re-writing, but just like Louise, they suffer from limitations due to content creep. However, I'm happy I've written him well enough that many like him, and I'll try to keep making good scenesand different pths for him even if he's not the main focus amongst the cast.

She's one of the characters that's been suffering from content-creep the most, where I have ideas for her and alternative paths I could develop, but I just don't have enough time and resources for that kind of undertaking, so I have to limit the possibilities of her character. That's basically true for all of the characters though, as a branching storiline provides almost infinite possibilities, but I can only bring some into existance :(

The scene where Ian checks out her videos was something different to work on and I've been developing something in my mind for a while, I can't wait to be able to put it down in words and images.

I would love for there to be some kind of confrontation between Axel and one of the protagonists and Marcel steps in and reminds Axel that he's not the most jacked guy around, lol.

I'd like to see her options expanded in the future, just because her own boyfriend isn't worthy of her doesn't mean a romantic relationship with Ian has to be the only option. She could "slut it up" in a single model path where we mostly just witness where that leads her as a third party to it, maybe she could opt to ditch her boyfriend *but* only be casual with Ian and play the field (perhaps even getting the Alison treatment with Jeremy and Ian), maybe she could even explore her sexuality with Lena (not immediately as there's little way that would make sense without some build up, but as a long term thing) and other girls. The simple prospect of a Ian/Cindy/Lena threesome would be enough to send Ian to paradise (and all of this would also probably be enough to get Wade dangling on a rope, but let's not talk about that). Cindy content is always the highlight of a chapter when there is some, but it is also kind of disappointing that it's always basically just one Ian/Cindy scene.

It was also very interesting how big the love for Holly & Emma is...which shows how big the community is. Other favorites of mine are Alison, Ivy, and Jessica (I'm excited to see more content from her) - and yes, Gillian made a big impression on me with her new scene and the first selfies on my cell phone - I hope we have the same opportunity to become active here, similar to Alex & Lena...with the men, it was surprising that Marcel is so far ahead - I'm not surprised that Jeremy is so popular as a fuckboy and I find the variable that Seymour brings in very wicked & contemporary. 😎

A lot of people have genuine hopes for him to be an interesting character and a good male option for Holly (as opposed to all the selfish dicks and a selfish shy nerd). That would be a very welcome change of pace, where a mean-looking black character doesn't just fall into a fetish but can actually have something more to him. What if his big looks are deceiving and he's actually a sweet guy?

I'm aware that it's unrealistic hoping her to be higher, since her interactions are very limited and only connected with Ian (and well, Jeremy). But I like her design and her behavior, for me is the most interesting woman in the game. Regarding guys, Stan is a decent guy. I'd really love to see some kind of evolution for him, the same way you did with Holly (who started being shy and now is awakening her more lustful self). It would be nice evolve and have some fun with a girl apart of Lena, someone who helped him to be more confident, a better photographer (and maybe a higher sense of style).

A true "Beauty-and-the-Beast" sorta motif. I'm glad his popularity is only second to the very well-developed BBC insert! 😆 My female pick was Jessica. I found the crossover from GGGB interesting, and her interactions with Ian were VERY intriguing. And I definitely sympathize with your Seymour not getting as much love as you hoped he would. His character and dialogue are some of the most well-articulated and dynamic I've ever seen! Definitely kudos on the classist approach to his ruthless-yet-sophisticated persona! And finally, like others, I ask - where is Ed?!! 😅
