First Time Reaction to SB19 "The Korea Times Interview"

What other PPop groups would you recommend? Fun fact nobody asked for: I was born in the Philippines. I feel I should know something about modern popular culture over there.

Here's a must-watch SB19 interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVUhk2m9YxQ It has English sub and a more updated peek in their group's life. Thanks!

I highly recommend that have your wife reacting with you when you watch their song MaPA since it is a very emotional song.

Pablo (previously Sejun) is their leader AND their songwriter. He wrote almost all of their songs. He's good with words since he has a Bachelor of Arts Major in English (language and literature) degree from one of the best universities in the Philippines.

Our FAMdom actually calls them "our boys" ... it's some sort of endearment , especially when we talk about them on a borderline emotional level. hahaha =) There's always this close, strong, familial connection with the boys. Not surprising at all, esp. for fans (A'tin) who've been with them from the beginning. (Like most mothers, even though their sons are all grown-ups. They still see them as their cute little boys). They're really good friends, more like brothers! Their experience as a group, what they went through together, solidified that relationship.

In spite of the success they've achieved, they've kept their feet on the ground! Still humble as ever and always grateful for all the blessings they've received. I also admire the fact that they're very supportive of other PPop groups. As they go up the ladder of success, they help lift other groups as well! https://youtu.be/P4BR-Er60yw Go UP dance practice video. They practiced 1000x for that and planned to disband after if nothing else happens to their career. But the dance practice video went viral and catapulted them to stardom. "Practice will never betray you". -SB19

Yeah, it was interesting to hear them speak about their training. They are so dedicated. Sadly, I didn't care very much for the reporter. Overall, I got the impression that the reporter and the media crew weren't that organised. And I felt as if she was pressuring them a little too much about their former band members and it made me cringe. You could see that it was painful for them to talk about their friends not having the practical means to continue in the group. I picked up on some attitude on her part, something along the lines of "bet they regret they left the group" and the lads just looked sad about not having their friends with them. I'm intrigued, though. Would be interesting to know more about them.

I was very impressed with how hard they are working.

Such humble, classy guys! I almost wrote "boys", because they look really young. I always enjoy it when young people are modest like that. Plus, it seemed like they were really good friends. I liked their chemistry.
