For the TCL Cortina, obviously. Previously released in the Cortina historic skinpack, reworked a little for this release.
The invincible Cortina entered its 3rd season at the top of saloon car racing by 1965, with a new threat looming from Italy in the form of the Alfa Romeo GTA, but not yet having officially arrived. The Cortinas would continue to mop up 1.6L touring car class honors and in some cases outright race wins.
Such was NOT the case at the Daytona Continental, an endurance race also open for touring cars, entered by Ford's American division for promoting sales of the Cortina road car and racing orders with extensive campaigns in the US from 1964 onwards. Driven to a wreck by future trans-am star Bob Tillius and Buck Baker. New additions include the "CORTINA" text on the rear, steelies, removed bumpers, new AO and a new JSON.
