Probably the most uniquely coloured GT350R to have raced in its first season of competition! Bob Johnson repainted his R code GT350 in silver with reddish-orangey (whatever it's called) striping, despite Shelby's order to keep all R's painted white with blue stripes for marketing purposes. A few teams did not care about this, like Essex Wire, Mark Donohue and Dan Gerber, who incidentally also raced this car for Johnson at Road America.
