André Wicky was a very successful entrepreneur and racing driver from France who mostly ran Porsches. From the 904 to the 910 and most cars in between, like the 906 and 907. He also race prepared his cars by himself, for good and for bad.
In the 1968 Le Mans 24, he teamed up with Jean-Pierre Hanrioud and qualified 34th, though sadly not finishing due to the rockers of the flat 6 breaking. I swear, there were so many Jean- named drivers running Le Mans this year!
