Great review/reactions! If you look back at puppet kite, you can actually tell in retrospect, based on all the new stitching that Pitou must have removed his vitals that would have been important food for the queen, tho we werent shown it directly. It stands to reason that the brain atleast is probably necessary for memories and personality to be inherited. In my head canon, i think partly why Meruem ripped himself out early and hungry, and driven to find a nen meal immediately could have been linked to the fact that the nen nourishment he should have gotten from kite was diverted to a new fetus (new reinna/kite), thus leaving him extremely hungry and annoyed near to hatch ant. Its interesting how different Meruem was the moment he finally got a rare human in East Gorteua, his personality changed instantly from instinctive urge to quell hunger - to chilling and reading books, playing games, ect. In hindsight it sort of makes sense. He was acting like an angry hungry child throwing a tantrum when he was born until he got that meal and then calmed down and began learning. I like the theory that even that was somewhat due to Kite indirectly, or the nourishment he represented to egg meruem atleast.
