Online Reality Game?

Long post: Don't leave comments, just read and vote. I am thinking about potentially hosting an Online Reality Game aka an "ORG" in 2021 and having the winner receive a free update of a game of their choice with the new content of their choice. I would only host it if enough people are interested in playing. So the question I am asking is, "Would you be interested in playing?"

You don't need any experience to play. If you don't know what an ORG is, it's basically a game in which people play together on a website and they compete in online challenges and vote each other off until a few players remain, and then the ousted players (that weren't the early boots) vote for one of the remaining players to win the game at the end. The format of these types of games can range anywhere from actual reality competition tv shows like Survivor, Big Brother, The Challenge, etc. to unique original formats that involve some voting and/or challenge aspect. Some ORGs are "closed ID" or "alias" in which the players compete under a different name (than their username on other websites) and their identity is kept secret from all the other players until after the game ends when there is a cast reveal that reveals all the identities. Some ORGs are "open ID" or "all stars" games in which the players don't hide under another identity. Closed ID games are usually done to prevent pregaming and prevent people from forming an alliance or clique based off knowing each other on other sites. Closed ID games typically have themes for the characters in the game, such as all the contestants on X season of Y reality show or characters in Z movie franchise. Players in online games also usually have their own private section on a website for the player to post their thoughts in a confessional and for voting in private and also for competing in challenges if challenges are private or non-live. Non-live is the opposite of live, live challenges = having to be on a website at a specific time to compete, non-live = having a window of time to compete with the window being large enough for a player to start and complete a challenge at their convenience (usually around a 24 hours period).

If I do host an ORG, then it would probably be closed ID and non-live with challenges having a 20-24 hour period for players to complete it and the same goes for a voting period. The theme for the game will probably have some transformation aspect for it and will probably not be based on any franchise in order to avoid any copyright claims. I would probably allow the players to come up with their own names for their characters with the only major requirements being that it's not based off their username or an OC they already have. If enough players do confessionals, then I will probably use their confessionals to make the ORG into a text story after the game has ended. Additionally if people like the text story, then potentially I can later make it a cyoa text game.

If you're in the game, then you have to be active and compete in it if you want to win. I would set up the game's own website. You don't have to dedicate several hours a day every day on it, but you would need to check in regularly in order to compete in challenges and vote and socialize through PMing with other players. If you are eliminated, then you won't have any more obligations to be active in the game except if you made it far enough that you need to vote for a winner on the final day of the game.

The rewards for playing in the game: Your character will be in a text story (and potentially a cyoa game), if you win the entire game then you will get the added bonus of receiving a free update of one of my games with the new content of your choosing, and of course you can also just have fun by playing in the ORG. The content to be added of your choosing can be anything from my other polls or it can be an entirely new idea you come up with to be added to one of my games. I do have veto power to deny a suggestion and ask for another suggestion if the first suggestion is something that would violate certain rules (for example: no incest content) or if it's something that would take 5+ weeks to complete (without taking into consideration the other games I would also be working on) or if it's something that I don't think would work well in the specific game (for example: a mode in which the werewolves in Werewolf Wake would be replaced by gigantic anthropomorphic bananas is a suggestion I will reject). You don't need to know your suggestion now. I usually have a game queue of work I need to do, so the game update won't jump to the front of my queue unless it's a short update that won't take weeks to complete.

If you're interested in playing, don't say it out loud because I don't want people to know who would be playing. Simply vote in the poll, and if you have any questions then you can give me a DM. I need at least 10 people to be interested in order for me to actually organize a game. If enough people are interested, then I'll probably make another poll asking for a preferred month for the ORG to take place in. I'm allowing all my patrons regardless of tier to vote in this poll. I'm asking all patrons because hosting an ORG and prepping for it will take up a little bit of my time, but I should still have time to work on creating games and working on game updates while the ORG is taking place (and the ORG should provide material for a future text story). Also because all patrons will be eligible to play in the ORG.
