A few weeks ago I posted who's in talks for the main three roles for live action HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. Since then Jack Dylan Grazer who had the offer for Hiccup was let go due to something that you could easily find online but I don't want to get into. After he was gone they changed direction for Astrid too. A week ago I heard who was then cast instead (Mason Thames and Nico Parker) and was gonna post. But decided before that to ask Universal directly about the names I heard. I don't usually ask the studio but decided to do it this time to get clearity on what's going on because of the mess with Jack Dylan Grazer. Universal used this to lock me under Embargo with Deadline and THR so I couldn't post. And they only emailed me to let me know the Embargo is now off and I can post AFTER Deadline and THR already reported the names. Which really pissed me off. Leason learned from this. Next time I get news I will just post them right away.
