Roles:
[CHRIS EATON]
Lead Male (45)
[AUSTRALIAN] "Tall, ruggedly handsome." Formerly from Interpol, Chris is a determined and principled man who agrees to head Fifa's new policing body against game fixing. However, he doesn't have the backing he needs from Fifa to get things done. He is motivated mainly by revenge against Crow, who
killed a friend of his. Throughout the script he chases after Raj, playing games with him, but they end up becoming friends. It is later revealed that Chris had cheated on his wife and had a child with another woman, which breaks up his family. In the
final act, Chris fixes games that lead to Crow's arrest.
[RAJ PERUMAL]
Lead Male (30 - 49)
[SINGAPOREAN] Raj is a game fixer and major criminal working for Crow. He is the target of Eaton's operation, and they play a back and forth game throughout much of the script. Raj is very good at convincing players to throw games for money/fame/etc., which he does with Luis. However, we also
see in some moments that he genuinely cares about the players and their families. Towards the end of the script, he is increasingly in trouble with Crow. Eaton actually manages to save him when they fix games together to bring down Crow. In the end, Raj serves only a short sentence and becomes friends
with Eaton.
[LUIS ESPINOSA]
Supporting Male (25)
[URUGUAYAN] Luis a very talented but poor player from Uruguay. Though he is reluctant at first, because he is competitive and noble, Raj is eventually able to convince him to throw games by promising him a chance to play in the World
Cup. In the final act, Luis scores a game-winning goal in a Cup match that also helps Eaton take down Crow.
[JANE HAPGOOD]
Supporting Female (28)
"Energetic red head. Seems flighty but is incredibly bright." Jane is Eaton's partner brought in by Fifa. She continues helping him even after he is fired and disgraced.
[CROW SU]
Supporting Male (40 - 59)
[SINGAPOREAN] Crow is the head of a huge network of gambling and game fixing operations in football. He is a ruthless criminal and Raj's boss. He killed a colleague of Eaton's. Towards the end of the script, Raj begins to fail him, so he wants to kill Raj too. Interpol finally arrests him after Luis
loses him money in a fixed match.
[DAG WEATHERALL]
Supporting Male (61)
Chairman of Fifa. He hires Eaton to oversee a policing body, but doesn't give him much authority, and is more concerned with PR that stopping game fixing.
[TAD HEDGES]
Supporting Male (42)
[BRITISH] A friend of Eaton's from Interpol who assists in Eaton in arresting Crow.
[POONJAE SINGH]
Supporting Male (40 - 49)
Poonjae works for Crow as part of his gambling operation. When Eaton threatens him, he reveals the location of Raj.
[MARGO]
