Chekhov's gun in The Parity
Added 2021-12-02 14:08:12 +0000 UTCWe have 10 chapters to the end, so it's about 200k-250k words+the epilogues. The resolving of the paths is more challenging than their introductions. I try to note every element that should be explained in the story, due to Chekhov's guidance that the riffle on the wall must be shot, or the audience would be disappointed.
Of course, it's not that you have the chance to get all information in a single walkthrough, but I think I need to describe:
- the Neighbours (the creatures from the other dimension);
- the long-term fate of the divers;
- elections;
- bimbo-Pauline route to the end (however, it would be no permanent Bimbo-Pauline ending);
- the reason why Auntie was angry when Pauline was close to Justin;
- the force of the dead.
Is there something I miss? Are there some scenes that you think have to be in the game?
