One week delay on packages (Also short ramble on COVID & making art)

Hey everyone,

There will be a one week delay on this month's packages, mainly due to me running up the clock with other deadlines.

For any of you who are a creative or know anyone who does it as a job/hobby, you might have heard them lament about how awful it is to create art (or do anything really right now). The honest truth is that art is incredibly difficult to self-motivate and a lot of the motivation for doing art comes from the external factor of being able to see those who appreciate your craft. Given that cons are likely not going to be a thing until late 2021 at the earliest, the position that myself and many other artists are in is dealing with this looming sense of "what's the point of making art right now" especially when the quality and content that we produce is intimately tied to our mental health and well being.

This isn't meant to be a sympathy post, more just me wanting to add my thoughts to the pool of "everyone is just doin' their best to hold on right now". I have faith that this will change as soon as we can go back to normal but in the meantime, thank you all for being so patient and lovely during this period. It means a lot <3
