Just wanted to point out that Tuello's 'don't let the bastards grind you down' comment wasn't random. It was the words that she wrote in latin under Waterford's corpse when they hung his body. the same words she found carved into her closet in the Waterford's house

They did such an outstanding job portraying trauma in ALL the many forms it manifests. June's is anger, it's the only way she survived. I also don't think she views Luke as her husband 100% if that makes sense. She knows he is BUT she's also been through so much she only counts on herself now. She doesn't trust anyone, including herself. Side note: Elizabeth Moss has the most expressive and beautiful eyes. I look forward to the close ups of her eyes every episode. She's bloody amazing. I can promise you that this season will not go any way you could possibly imagine in all the best and worst ways. Lots of twists, not quite as bad as previous seasons that you had such a hard time with. Just different, very psychological fuckery in full play. In all the best and worst ways. Yes, your savage side will come out, it is The Handmaid's Tale after all, but it got my heart this season. I'm hoping this helps you ready yourself since it's done such a number on you previously. I'm just thankful you've stuck with it. Yeah, I admit your reactions are exactly why I fell for you, lol.
