2024-10-06 21:52:38 +0000 UTCFun reaction! 47:54 older lady in the lower left, that's the real life Lorraine Warren making a cameo appearance. I followed the Warren's work since the Amityville case. I was especially interested in the Snedeker family case which was the basis for "A Haunting in Connecticut". In the early 2000s once the internet was becoming more developed, it became easier to source, study and compare info and I began losing faith in the authenticity of the the Warren cases. However, as stories these cases are great and the portrayals of Ed and Lorraine as characters by Patrick Wilson and Vera Famiga are excelent.

2024-09-05 13:44:15 +0000 UTCI remember watching this with my sisters and parents at home in the dark. It was a game changer. It felt like it broke the rules of horror. Still had those elements but broke them some how. Great reaction. Now having watched Lili Taylor in this again makes me want to suggest The Haunting to Kemi.
