Rewatching this is interesting! Ezma said she practically raised Kuzzo and it really shows, especially during the breakfast scene where they both say the same order in unison . I never noticed as a child, but it makes sense on why Kuzzo is the way he was. I am assuming his parents aren't alive, and I wouldn't put it past Ezma killing them trying to take over the kingdom. But that's just my theory.
