[Spoilers] Divimera R4 progress update [24/09/2021]

We have been working really hard on the new instalment this past two weeks, and I can say this version is gonna be probably the best update to the game so far. The amount of art required for R4 is unprecedented and there is a bit of everything. It's not longer than R2 was but it's packed with suspense, new situations, and the NSFW content is present like never through the 2 new fully animated sex scenes and a bit of flirt for every character.

Overall it's probably the most difficult update I have ever worked on in my short life of ero game dev, it's super exhausting and we are not quite done yet but it's gonna be good.

This version also showed the limit of having the character art being handled by only one person, just making the animated sex scenes themselves almost take the entire time of the artist, this is why I contacted Seb (the artist that made the art for Tyrant Quest) to see if he could help to do some of the illustrations that are in the far distance and reproduce the style of Kojack (the main artist).

I'm pleased to announce the experiment was successful and the results are very impressive.

As you can see the results are quite good and having Seb on board to assist on the game will allow us to really improve the productivity on the art side. 

This was just a test but given the good results, we already set an appointment next week where we will be making all the small illustrations in the distance needed for R4!

Meanwhile, Kojack has been fixing and adding new expressions to some previous characters and is currently making the second sex scene:

On the background art side, it was a calm week and most of the stuff we did I can't really show as it's like some small adjustment to already existing backgrounds to make it perfect, but that new one can be shared because I think it looks cool and is totally new:

On the misc side, it's possible to die in R4 so I had to make a sort of death screen, it was time-consuming to make but will be useful in the future as this won't be the only time you can die abruptly:
