Note: While attempting to upload this map yesterday, I noticed a glitch with Patreon that made it seem like attachments weren't loading properly. I decided to upload today instead, hoping the issue would be fixed by now - it still seems to be acting up. If the attachments do not appear properly once this is posted, I will likely upload the files to Google Drive and include a link here until it can be fixed.

A great overgrown mound rises from the earth, surrounded by standing stones carved with strange glyphs and motifs. This place is ancient - sacred.
Half-hidden in the overgrowth, a stone doorway leads into darkness under the hill. As you draw near, you notice the acrid stench of decay emanating from within.

This is a passage grave map inspired by Newgrange, a Neolithic burial site in the east of Ireland, older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Egypt. A few months back I saw some old photographs of the site before its restoration, and I fell in love with it - I wanted to make a battle map that could capture some of its mystery and magic.
Perhaps the party must retrieve some ancient relic from the mound, or vanquish an ancient undead that has made its lair within?
Honestly, it was just a lot of fun to work on a map inspired by Irish history and culture, and it's a subject I might dip back into again, should the mood take me!

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT.
