First of all came the question, which way does the river flow? It took a lot of Googling and studying the map to figure out that it was flowing from east to west. I think. Honestly, I still expect to be told that I'm mistaken on this one, but such is life.
The second issue came when I realised that the map of Barovia only looks like the Old Svalich Road connects to both ends of the dirt path that runs along the river. Why does a dirt path wander all the way along to a cliff face for no apparent reason? Well, no apparent reason. I decided for my game to lean into this and have provided an alternate map in case anyone else would like to do the same - it was in fact a dirt path, but it recently fell into the river. The Vistani were sure to warn my players of this, so they would not waste precious sunlight (well, sort of) wandering down a dirt path to nowhere.
