Bat-Villains Double Feature

And our winner by a wide margin was Batman! We were originally only going to post this Selina commission that's been sitting for awhile, but we decided after how decisive a victory it was to go ahead and also throw in this Ivy and Punchline one we had sitting. Not sure we expected such a performance but do hope everyone enjoys both of these.

Cuteness Is Rolling In

And here's our other second place winner! We'll post first place later this evening, it won by a pretty comfortable margin, but was fun seeing just how competitive the runner up slot was. Bunch of other things also came out just one vote shy of these ones so was a very competitive batch. Know we've got at least one more Mega Man thing waiting in the wings, but is kind of a series we could probably stand to hit more often than we do, hoping this one does well.

A Friend Looking Out For You

Magical Project S has a special place in my heart and I really need to get a look at it again, but it hit me hard as a kid and Misao in particular just had a big impact. She was honestly a really HUGE inspiration for making Erika. So was great seeing Martin put this together. All I did was the dialog and maybe shading I think. Geoff as a responsible older brother is entirely capable of an intelligence, measured response when slighted by a kindergartner. I really like that while Jenn finds it hilarious that Geoff is reacting this way, she was willing to make a genuine attempt at being "the mature one" and only instigated him by accident. Heh, yeah, been wanting to get another page of this out for a bit. Bit of a shakeup in how this is playing out, had fun really showing Erika being overwhelmed by all of this setting in at once with Marie being the straw that broke the camel's back. Of course even while things take a bit of a different turn, we're still also heading in a more familiar direction at the same time... Thoughts on the hair here incidentally? We tried something new with it, curious for feedback.

Lulshi Commission- Still A Baby

This one's been sitting for a while; Princess Zelda recently awoke with her adult mind trapped in a baby body, ready to wield the power of the Triforce of Wisdom.... Several years early. The issue, it seems, is that it's really unclear what the nature of the threat to Hyrule really is, so she's just left pondering that in silence. Enjoyed playing with that a bit, with her listing various ideas for past Zelda villains that could plausibly turn back out.

And this wraps up our current anime season tie-ins! Sorry this one's running late, kind of had to rush to get it finished and was hard to find the time to do so today. Definitely wanted to get some Dandadan in the batch of stuff we were putting up so glad we got this out, hope everyone enjoys.

Bawl of the Night

Heh, Call of the Night's a show I really loved in season 1 so them announcing a season 2 even though the manga had already ended was a very welcome surprise. Kind of a stock joke but had fun doing it, definitely going to be doing more with these two in the future.

Suddenlynight Commission - Demoted Wardrobe

This one's been sitting for like a year, and prooobably would've just been included in an Avalance but somehow this show returned! So yeah, felt appropriate to post it given that, and while I do think there are things about it that could've been done better do think it still looks decent on the whole and hope everyone enjoys.

13 Sentinels! Kind of a game I had sitting in my backlog for years but only actually made the time for last year since I lost interest in it pretty quick; feel like the game doesn't make the best first impression and takes awhile to get going but is very rewarding once you get into the swing of it. Heh, been wanting to get this one out for a few days. Kind of a dumb fun goofy page, went through a couple of reconfigures to iron out the jokes in it but quite happy with the end results. Playing out very differently from the original story but you can see where it's still aligning to the broad strokes, got more stuff like that planned soon.

Heheh. Yeah, rather like how this came out. Odd idea but given Yuki loves toilet humor and talking about her padding she'd naturally want to discuss these details in waaaaay too much detail~ Is it weird that we wanted to think of what Yuki's preferred brand is? Given her natural demeanor, she's of course picking it based on how much fun it is to say.

Where I Truly Belong

Heh. Yeah, Devil Is A Part Timer makes for a very fun series. I re-watched the first season a couple of months back and loved Emi's character so much that I even bought the first volume of the Light Novel to see how the show had done her dirty. We don't hit the show that much but it is very nice. We do have a project in mind that uses that series as an inspiration but be a bit before it's moved forward on. Eh. Lot of balls in the air.
