Progress Update

Hello!

This update is nearly finished; I've forced myself to stop working on adding new assets, and I'm going to try and find obvious issues & bugs instead, which will take a few days.

The new bedroom map doesn't look quite like I wanted it to just before the next update, but it can be improved in later versions, of course.

Progress Update

Hii!!!

I've been working extensively on the Giantess' movement system, and now she can traverse levels pretty well! I've also smoothed turning so she doesn't walk into walls as easily when it comes to tight corridors.

The Stomach has been updated with some new behavior:
As the Giantess gets more hungry, the stomach works harder at digesting its contents. At 90% hunger, the stomach will begin digesting ANYTHING inside of it, regardless of reaction multipliers. So be careful! View Post

Hello again.

I've mostly been working on the Bedroom level over the past week. I've been going ahead with merging multiple levels together. Might as well, right?

So far, I've got two new scenarios: 'Sleeping' (Actually in a bed this time!) and 'At the Computer'. Giantess Sandbox's scripting language is getting more and more advanced with every feature, which helps facilitate more believable behavior.

The new & improved Bedroom level is coming around nicely! I'm working out the AI of the Giantess & I'm also adding new features to the scripting language to help the scene feel more realistic. Or, as realistic as a Giantess working at a computer can feel, anyways.

I might end up combining Pool, Bathroom and Bedroom all into one level. They're all based on the same house, after all, and it would be nice for the Giantess to have somewhere to walk to.

New old level!

I'm bringing back the Bedroom. Now it features a computer, along with the usual bed, wardrobe, and other amenities. I'm playing around with other level ideas too, so stay tuned for that! ^^

Along with this, I'm still trying to get intestinal villi to work properly, but it's been such a rough road so far. It's hard to keep track of where the player is when the area they can be in is so compact! Trying to optimize this is a bit of a nightmare.

Hello!

I've made some progress on the intestines, so hopefully I'll be able to show that off at some point. I'm probably 15% of the way through that! I can't guarantee it'll provide max immersion, but it'll at least TRY to conform to the pushing of the intestines.

Quite a few bugs have been fixed, and I've also added some new emotions, stomach noises, animations, etc. I've also been tossing around a few level ideas, so something may be coming in terms of that.

Wow, what a busy month. Between work and having to fix my car, I haven't had much time to spare. What little time I /have/ had, though, has been spent giving more life to the small intestines of this virtual Giantess. Go figure!

RELEASE: Giantess Sandbox v0.0.13a (August Build)

Happy vore day, everybody! I knew I wasn't going to make last month, so I figured I'd just wait for today :p

This is a pretty sizeable update (No pun intended). The biggest feature is that you can now spawn (better) AI from the spawn menu (F10)! They move around, steal food, and react to the world around them.

Freshly updated is the pick-up mechanism, which can now (hopefully) catch you, even if you stand in weird spots.

Progress Update!

Hello! This last week has brought us stability updates, FPS gains, AI improvements and more!

One of the major pains in the last week has been working on the sliding mechanic, which I have slated to be in the next update. I've gotten it in a pretty stable state, but it still requires some polishing.

Player collision has been getting some (much needed) touch-ups as well, to combat jittery gameplay and related bugs. It's turning out pretty good!

Micro bots are almost done! I'm still working out AI for them, along with (placeholder) scenarios so that they can interact with the Giantess and with the world around them. Progress is going very well!

Still working on AI! I also added hand-held flashlights (angled AND straight flashlights) for the AI to use. Right now they can walk around, pick up food / tools they find, grab items out of your hands (unintended but funny) and even use tools they have (like using a flashlight in a stomach, for example).

Progress Update

I've implemented clinging onto stuff! By using LMB and RMB at the same time when close to something, you'll cling onto whatever you're looking at!

Also included in this progress update is the new HUD (as shown in Screenshot # 2)! The new bars clearly state why they're there and can also disappear when they're not needed!

I've spent the past week adding a new score-based PickTarget system so that users can create more detailed scripts! It allows you to provide criteria rules that target candidates must follow to be eligible, such as 'Target must be sentient' or 'Target must be edible'. Pretty technical stuff!

I've also been adding polish to various things as well, such as adding lounge chairs to Pool! It was pretty empty over there, heh

Progress Update

It's been a very hectic week, so I wasn't able to work on the project as much as I would have liked. I did manage to work in a new spawn menu, though! As well as that, I've also added an XRay toggle keybind (for which the default key is F12). That should come in handy!

Progress might slow down for the next few days because I'm going to be helping someone move into a new house. I will still work on this project every chance I get, though! Stay tuned :)

Additionally, I decided not to add Bathroom to the main menu because it's currently only used for the disposal scene. That scene will only occur if you escape the Giantess' intestines (provided you have it enabled in the options menu).

Progress Update!

Another week, another progress update.


This week brings a brand new teleportation effect, as pictured in the video! You can hold the teleport button to preview what's going on before you teleport. You can then press escape if you don't want to teleport (if things look too dicey on the other end ^^).

I've added digestion effects to pretty much everything except the player and the nutrition pill (Might make a custom model for the pill)! I might even cave in and add some for the player too ^^

Hello! Been a minute since I posted... What started as a hotfix has turned into a pretty sizeable update, so it's taking longer than expected.


Some of the more nasty bugs have been fixed, such as grapes not being digestable, the player always ragdolling, clipping issues, etc. I thought the build was good to go out yesterday, but then I discovered a HUGE bug report list on Aryion by Nanakra (Thank you, by the way!) and I'm just going down that list and fixing them.

I'm currently working a new 'Custom Level' system which will make the level system more dynamic, as well as fixing the persistent bugs from last release.

Also included in the next version is some randomized renders to put on the loading screen! Pretty snazzy.
