Here's the thing about Castmasters:
- They're the ones responsible for the time loop. Because of this they live multiple, multiple lives and grow more powerful as they continually train.
- The Edge of Sanctuary (the two statues that have that weird transdimensional-like gate inbetween them) is one of the Castmaster's sanctuaries that hold some of their history. These special sanctuaries survive the time resets.

I've been making the sketches for comics Brandon will reference when illustrating (this is how they traditionally look at the very beginning stages) so I thought I'd share some excerpts of what's to come.

Getting Banished ready for its Book 2 conclusion is well under way and here's the first look at the preliminary designs of one of the new characters. A woman Boscis has never been seen in the comics before and that's an error I'm correcting now!

While Ayari's attacks are more indirect, Rastus prefers up close and personal. Getting a good chomp in appears to have really disabled the red dragon, but Ayari immediately smells something in the air and turns to his foe with a devious grin.
Spoilers: Ayari is not really that damaged. He's playing up his injury to catch Rastus off guard. What immediately happens next is Ayari catches the scent of is Coven's friend, Wylla. Time to start fighting dirty.

Here we see the start of the super villain processing for The Concordat. Fun story: I was having fun and thought about doing more with this whole villain business lot, but Brad Guigar came out with Evil Inc. and I didn't want to step on his toes.
