had a last minute idea regarding the warehouse and cargo bot managers. Both now have the identical individual pick thumbnails _AND_ if you have invested int the Yutani Robotics Corp you get the STASIS POD Analyzer feature for free...

Dev-Log 1st March - Integration V1.30DEV Started

Hi,

today I started the integration of V1.30 DEV version. The DEV version is for testing and contains all changed mechanics, weapons, items, locations.

I added the new starting Point Day 120, which is set to the end of V1.20 story and gallery content. The next days I'll integrate combat maps and test the new weapons and locations.

V1.30DEV should be available to those VIP who are BETA Testers around 7th of March in Discord (Beta Channel).

Dev-Log 28th Feb - Botlab - New Shell Stats System

Hi,

today I finished integration of the new shell stat bonus system.

  • some shell types now come with bonuses
  • bonuses can include guaranteed likes, stat buffs, guaranteed personalities, etc...
  • bonus values scale with GEN and with Grade
  • Bot valuation balancing I still need to do or we will see the return of the 200 Mil bots :)

Dev Log 26th Feb - Hull Plating System

Hi,

I have finished the assets and GUI integration for the new Hull plating system (no more one shot instakills when your shield is gone...)

  • Bumbling Bee can be plated with one of 4 hull platings in individual slots
  • mix and match possible
  • upon hit, a random plate slot is selected and the plate used to block or attenuate the hit
  • plates are used up on hit
  • ship systems only damaged if the hit punches through the plate

Dev Log 23rd Feb - GUI Changes to Make Life Easier (NSFW)

Hi,

here are a few of the GUI changes I implemented into V1.30 to make life a bit easier.

  • BOT parts and addons are tagged with Grade and Gen in Overview Screen
  • Thumbnails in BOT manager and Arcagde Manager to see shell type as well
  • Individual BOT picker in warehouse with "BOT Card" like in cargo
  • Drop down menus for job assignment

Still a few items to go (Nimhe build menu interface, ...) but should be done with most mechanics items by end of...

Dev Log Feb 19 - Restart Bonus - Unique Items (Edit)

Hi,

I always liked the unique items in Diablo and have created a few in SJX to celebrate the restart. 

Mysterious vault ships can be encountered in Deep Space. If you happen to have the keys, you will be able to retrieve one special item (but chose wisely, every ship and its unique content will only appear once).

An example ship with the two items you can chose from attached. Assets done, still need to do the combat integration for the special effects.

Status February 13

Hi,

things seem to go well and I have worked a bit on the NX-010 System which becomes relevant for 1.30.

I will most likely reactivate my page next week and publish a 1.30 release plan, with DEV/BETA in March and Official Releases in April.

If that works out there will be a two-monthly cycle with alternating DV/BETA and Official Release months.

As to story and content more from next week when I will resume a more regular posting cycle (two or three per week).

Short Status Update Feb-08

Hi,

I worked a little on Vee Revised content today. Fits much better than "Nude Suit" in my opinion. (See screenshot)

Progressions (like T'Ris) might also come, but those are a ton of work so I won't go into that yet.

If everything goes well I will reactivate the page and resume work (though in  less crazy workload than before) Mid February.  I have collected all issues and bugs already.

VIP Preview - Vee Revised

Worked a little on Vee Revised today.

  • Fortunately the suit was an asset and I only had to fiddle a bit with the texture, so not much work.
  • I will probably change Vee from V1.30 into that outfit (after maintenance room Vee-joins-the-crew scene).
  • The full nude worked for discovery but later it felt weirdly like nudism and not sexy

Status Update Jan-30

Hi,

here is a small status update. Things are going ok and I started some light (non coding) work on SJX.

  • wrote the story outline for 1.30
  • refined the roadmap plan for 1.30 to 1.60
  • collected all reported 1.20 bugs into a list

today I integrated all reported minor issues into v1.20 Official Release for 8th Dec.

Dev-Log 29th Nov - Uniforms

Hi,

while waiting for the final feedback on V1.20 Early Access 1 I fitted the uniforms to Moira (and Seraphine) and made a wallpaper. 

It is probably a good idea to introduce the uniforms for both, as they are now members of the crew with daily tasks.
